"What?" Le Huan asked as he pursed his lips while subconsciously staring at the emperor's space who's smiling alluringly. Le Huan looked away and try to refocus on the matter at hand, already almost an old couple but still reacting like this, Le Huan cleared his thoughts silently.

"That Bai QingShen had an obsession towards that concubine, your servant. If a wealthy individual like that was suddenly informed of details leading to where his concubine was, how do you think he would feel towards that person?" the emperor asked sarcastically, as his eyes moved to Le Huan's red ears that are slowly subsiding, hmm his concubine's thoughts are trailing off the direction.

"Stop messing around, we need to get them." Le Huan said worry was apparent on his voice but no one can deceive how his eyes became a bit misty and his lips red and slightly swelling from the kiss, his face became almost red as the monkey's butt.

"Don't worry it's me, trust me and trust your servants. You'll be fine, I'll tell you when to intervene" the emperor said, patting his head gently.

Le Huan was skeptical but what can he do, this was a battle to defeat the empress.

Qiu was surprised that he looked up at him but then held his head back down.

"It changes nothing, I won't go back" Qiu said stubbornly and still refusing.
