Avengers react to Hawkeye TV show

Episode 5: The Blip

The episode started with Yelena's voice over a snowy landscape, "It’s a synthetic gas. The counteragent to chemical subjugation."

"Um what?" Kate asked in confusion.

"This is weird," Yelena noted, "I kind of didn't believe you when you said this was fiction."

Natasha nodded in agreement, sitting next to her sister.

She spoke in Russian, "it's an antidote for mind control."

"Mind control..." Bucky mumbled, he looked at Natasha and Yelena and noticed how Natasha squeezed her sisters hand in reassurance. He frowned deeply.

Natasha's voice spoke, "He had Widows implanted all over the world. You should be the one to tell ’em it’s over."

"How many widows are there?" Steve asked softly.

"A lot," Natasha answered simply, keeping her eyes on the screen.

She whistled and gentle music began to play.

Natasha looked at her sister and whistled. Yelena looked up and smiled sadly; tears forming in her eyes. She whistled back.

The Avengers watched the siblings in confusion, except for Clint who just smiled.

The year 2018 was shown on the screen.

"Wait... 2018?" Bruce sat up, "that's the year of the blip."

"Oh shit-"

Yelena and another widow were seen running on top of a building. The camera then showed them walking down a set of stairs inside the building; they pointed their guns out in front of them.

"What are you doing?" Sam asked her.

"You'll see."

"Hey," Nat smirked, "you got a new vest."

"Yeah," Yelena smiled, "with lots of pockets."

Yelena walked out in front of a woman holding a cup of tea, "Hi there, Ana."

Yelena stared at her with an unreadable expression as the other widow stood behind Ana; pointing her gun at her.

"You're kind of intimidating," Kate commented, looking at the assassin.

"Whaaat?" Yelena chuckled.

Ana looked back at the widow then at Yelena. She took a breath before throwing a plate at Yelena and a cup at the other widow; trying to escape.

"You didn’t even flinch," Wanda noted in surprise.

"She missed," Yelena shrugged, leaning back in her chair.

Ana and the widow grunted as they fought; Yelena quickly took out her gun and pointed it at Ana.

Maya raised her eyebrow.

Ana leaned her head into the gun and smiled, "Do it."

Belova stared straight at her.

Everyone watched the screen ot the edge of their seats; except Yelena of course.

Without thinking, Ana pushed Yelena's arms upward and charged forward. However, Yelena turned just in time; she slid on the floor as the other widow fought with Ana. Yelena grabbed Ana's back and twisted her around. Ana headbutted her in the face.

"Ouch," Wanda winced.

Yelena grunted as she did a flip; throwing Ana to the floor.

"Hey, cool!" Peter smiled at the screen.
