"What do I wear?" I ask Mirabel. She's too busy gushing about my date to answer. She and Jessi are more excited than I am, to be honest.
"You have a date with my cousin. You're dating my cousin. You're my cousin, I always thought of you as a sister more than a cousin though," Mirabel rambles.
"Mira! I won't be dating anyone if you don't help me pick an outfit," I tell her.
"Oh right! He said cute but comfortable, right? Why don't you just steal a dress from Isabela? I'm sure she has like 20 of them," She says. I sigh and shake my head.
"I will not steal from Isabela, but a dress would be a good idea," I say.
"You need a dress?" I hear a knock and my door opens. Dolores peeks her head in.
"Yes, she does! She has a date with Camilo," Mirabel says excitedly and pulls Dolores in.
"Finally! Took him long enough," Dolores says and then walks over and sits on my bed. I blush profusely.
"That's what I said. Anyways, do you have any dresses?" Mirabel asks Dolores. She thinks and then nods.
"I have a nice yellow one. It matches the poncho that Camilo wears all the time," She tells us.
"That's perfect," I say. She nods and runs off towards her room to go retrieve the dress. I stand up and walk to the vase full of flowers that Cam gave me. I take one out and place it in my hair.
"Is this cute?" I turn to Mirabel. She's smiling at me.
"That's a great idea. I'm so excited for you. Am I allowed to stalk?" She asks. I shake my head and laugh.
"No. And tell Isa I said she can't come along either," I tell her. I don't know if Isabela knows about this date, but my guess is that she found out and definitely wants to tag along.
"Ugh. Do you know where he's taking you?" Mirabel asks me. I shrug.
"He said it's a surprise," I tell her.
"He either has a great idea of where to take you or no idea of where to take you," She says. I laugh and nod.
I hear Dolores knock on the door and enter. With her, she brings in a yellow dress. It's beautiful...

I try it on and it fits perfectly. I give a twirl and the girls clap.
"You look amazing," Dolores tells me. I smile.
"It's perfect and the flower in your hair is just... Ah! Beautiful!" She gushes. Jessi squeaks in appreciation.
"Thanks. You guys are so sweet," I smile. I twirl in front of the mirror. I really do look nice. I smile at myself. I wonder what Camilo is doing...
CAMILO'S POV:
"I'm honestly surprised that you were able to ask her out in the first place," Isabela tells me. I roll my eyes. She's helping me get ready. Honestly, she's just hyping me up but is doing a terrible job at it .
"What kind of hype woman are you?" I ask annoyed.
"You don't need a hype woman. You're confident enough. You are literally the only person who can make her blush and swoon and other stuff," She says waving her hand in the air. I roll my eyes and take look in the mirror. Hair brushed. Deodorant, on. I got this.
"I got this," I say out loud.
"There's the spirit! Where are you taking her anyway?" Isabela asks me. I have the perfect place in mind, but I haven't told yet. Well, except for Antonio, but that's because he helped me a bit the place.
"It's a surprise," I tell her.
"You're not taking me out, you can tell me," She sighs.
"I'm not telling anyone. You included," I tell her. She rolls her eyes and groans.
"Boooring. Tell me," She demands.
"I'll give you a clue. It's more than one place," I say.
"Ooooooo. Well, aren't you fancy?" Isabela coos.
"I want it to be perfect," I tell Isa. She smiles at me.
"Have you told your mom or dad?"She asks. I laugh nervously. No. No, I did not. In any other situation, I would've gladly told my dad and mom. They would've been overjoyed, but also over the top. They would've definitely stalked us and watched us on our date. Not because they don't trust, but because they'd want to fawn over how cute we are.
"No, and don't tell them until after the date. I love them, but I don't want them to follow us," I say. She nods in understanding.
"Okay, Señor Smooth, you ready?" She asks. I cringe at that terrible nickname. It's no wonder she's single.
"Don't call me that. I'm ready. Wish me luck," I take a deep breath and walk out of the door.
Y/N'S POV:
"Jessi make sure these two stay here," I tell the ray who squeaks and nods in agreement. I see Dolores roll her eyes.
"We're not going to follow you," Dolores says, "I don't want to watch my friend make out with my brother,". I laugh and shake my head.
"Tell that to Mirabel," I say. Mirabel is wearing a big smile.
"Me?! No. I would never! Never ever follow you. Unless..."
"Mirabel," I warn. She sighs and nods defeated.
"Fine, fine, I won't follow you. But if you ever need me, you know where to find me," She says.
"I know, I know. I'll be fine. Camilo is sweet," I tell her.
"Yeah, to you," Dolores rolls her eyes. I smile at her. Oh, to have siblings. Couldn't be me.
"Well, I'm going to go. I'll see you two later," I smile at them. They nod and I leave my room. First date...
A lot of feelings. Nervous, mostly. I mean I hang out with Camilo a lot. A lot. Why should I treat this any different? It's not like I'm going out with some random guy. I'm going out with Camilo. My best friend and... boyfriend? Is he my boyfriend? He is right? Technically. I hold my small little coin purse. His bracelet is in there. I hope he likes it. What if he doesn't? No, he will. Why am I so nervous? What if kisses me? Do I know how to kiss someone? Of course, I know how to kiss someone. It's like mouths together, right? I don't know. He probably doesn't know.
