Chapter Two

When Ashwin turned around, Sandy was on a call while the other two men whispered among themselves on watching a video in mobile. Although he admires Master and know that Master isn't someone who go back on his words, Ashwin wanted to make sure that Master doesn't make a move on his friends. That's why he made an excuse and scouted here.

Throwing a suspicious glare at Sandy, Ashwin stared at them for a couple of seconds before walking towards the washroom. After finishing his business, he washed his hands and whistled to himself as he walked out of the washroom.

When Ashwin was back, Sandy and his minions were gone. Shaking his head, he dialed Rakshan and informed him about Baba Baskar's decision. When Rakshan expressed his rage on Viraj, Ashwin asked him not to react on anything and wait for him.

On the other hand, Sivaangi, who breathed a sigh of relief when Sandy and his men walked away, tried to stand on her legs. When she heard footsteps, fighting the fatigue feeling, she pushed her tired body in front and slammed herself against the cupboard door.

Ashwin, on hearing a thud noise, looked around while still on call with Rakshan. He was sure he heard a thud but there wasn't anyone around puzzling him. Sivaangi, on the other hand, tried to slam her tied arms against the cupboard door.

When Ashwin was about to walk away, he heard the thudding sound again.

"Dei, naan vara varaikum yethuvum sothapirathinga. Viraj ooda yendha prachanaiyum vendam" Ashwin hanged up the call and looked around.

(Don't mess up until I'm back. Don't mess up with Viraj)

Sivaangi, through the slit saw silhouette of a man and screamed which came as a mild hum. Ashwin's eyes frantically looked around before settling on the cupboard. He remembered that's where Sandy and his minions stood.

Putting two and two, Ashwin eyed at the cupboard in suspicion before walking towards it. On seeing a shadow approaching towards her, Sivaangi continued knocking her arms on the door as she pulled her face back.

When the knocking sound got consistent, Ashwin's one hand reached for the gun tucked in his trousers. He stood on one side of cupboard and after a moment of thought, he stood in front of the cupboard and opened it.

Sivaangi, who was leaning on the cupboard door and wasn't expecting the sudden action, shrieked in horror and closed her eyes as her body started to fall forward. Ashwin, who was about to grab his gun, paused and quickly reacted when someone was about to fall on him.

With wide eyes, Ashwin took a step back and grabbed the young woman who was about to fall on him. Sivaangi, who was expecting her face to kiss the ground opened her eyes wide open when she felt someone holding her.

Ashwin's eyes took in the woman in his arms who had a cloth stuffed in her mouth. She had her eyes tight shut, her kohl eyes smudged and traces of dried tears clearly visible on her face. When she opened her eyes, Ashwin took a sharp intake of breath as her eyes bore into his for, he saw a flicker of recognition in those black orbs.

When Sivaangi's eyes met Ashwin's, her eyes wide in shock as she took in the person in front of her. A spark of recognition flashed in her black orbs as a chocked sob left her pulling Ashwin out of his thoughts.
