Chapter 52

Months had past with my parents being in my life again. They had taken over L/n enterprise and I was more than happy to give up the responsibility. I had more free time to be with my family and explore my interests again.
"Y/n!?" I heard Aizawa walked past the art studio. I was in the middle of a piece and was sitting in silence to concentrate. I carefully graced the paint brush across the canvas "here you are" Aizawa busted in causing me to mess up.
"Yes! What do you want?" I said frustrated.
"Sorry" he stared at me "what did I do?"
"Nothing nothing" I sighed "what is it?"
"You're acting like we don't have a flight to catch" he walked over to me and packed my art supplies away "your painting is absolutely gorgeous, but I need you to help me get the kids into the car"
"Oh yeah sure" I stood up and left.

I quickly collected the kids and they got into the car. I made sure all of our luggage was in the trunk and Aizawa walked out of the house with Loki in his travel cage. Shinso rushed to take him and held the cage in his seat.
"We'll see you guys at the airport" my parents left the driveway. Aizawa opened the door for me and I got into the driver's seat. Aizawa got into the car and I left the driveway.

"I still can't believe you guys paid for everyone to go on holiday for a week" Shinso said excited.
"I feel like our dads were lowkey pressed that we paid in full" I glanced at Aizawa.
"They were so pissed" he laughed "but fr, this trip costs a lot, especially your friends are coming" he looked back at the kids.
"How were you able to pay for all of our friends to come?" Eri asked "plus Aliyah's friend's parents are coming"
"Savings and prayers" I sighed "it's worth it since it'll be fun"
"Yeah it will" Aizawa smiled.
"I mean, it would've been cheaper if we took the private jet but it's too small for all of us and my grandparents took it" I shrugged "I think they're in New York now, yeah they are they sent me a picture" I smiled.
"When I retired, I want to be like them" Shinso said "imagine travelling and seeing so much of the world"
"They're trying to visit 100 countries before they're 70" I said.
"How old are they now?" Aliyah asked.
"63 and 62, and they're on country 93" Aizawa said. I looked at him "I listen when they talk to me" he shrugged.
"They're so fun too" Eri smiled "I want to go with them"
"Let's ask them when they come back" Aliyah said and they agreed.

We had all got on the plane. I sat next to Aizawa in first class. The girls were seated in the column next to us.
"Remind me why you're so eager to go on holiday" I looked at him.
"Because, its half term, we all are free and we get to spend time with our loved ones" he smiled "plus, I get to relax with my family for a week in the Maldives, win win situation"
"I'm actually really excited" I rested my head on his shoulder "I've seen pictures and-"
"Can I get you guys anything?" The flight attendant appeared next to us.
"No thank you" Aizawa said. She looked at me.
"No thank you" I smiled. She nodded and walked away. We continued talking and I'd notice her staring at us and walking past frequently.

Aizawa eventually fell asleep on me while I struggled to sleep. I glanced at the girls and they were fast asleep as I tucked them into blankets before. I put on headphones and started a random movie.

We made it to the hotel and all got our keys. We booked a few suites with rooms attached to a lounge. Everyone got into groups and separated into the rooms. Luckily they were all on the same floor. We got Aliyah and Eri their own room. I walked into Aizawa and my room.
