Nemeria's small frame suddenly hit the floor, and all sense of rage left my body. My body was not responding to my brains constant screaming to run and pick her up. Turak pulled himself out of his father's grip and dashed towards Nemeria picking her up and carrying her to her house. Nemeria's father let go of me and stared at me in disbelief.

"How could you attack a guest!" he shouted furiously. "And one of the most important! How dare you!" he fumed. "After all I've done for you this is how you repay me?"

I was silent to his remark. I glanced in the direction of Nemeria's house.

"Don't dare go near her. You have lost all my respect boy! You will no longer work for me." he said and turned around and headed to find his daughter.

My fists curled into  tight balls and I shook with anger. How dare Turak say he love her? He does not! How dare he pretend like that! He's so fake! I could not calm down. My heart was beating ferociously.  My eye sight because suddenly blurred. The moonlight reflected off the roof of the barn. Blinding me abit The moon so big, round and it's full moon tomorrow. The harvest festival is tomorrow.

Shit. Harvest festival meant utter chaos. I needed money to buy a new coat for mother, but it looks like Chief just fired me. Great just fricking great. I ran a hand thought my hair trying to calm the raging thoughts in my head. A figure appeared in the shadow of the stable.  It looked like an animal, I realised it was Nemeria's horse Petaine.  He must of gotten out of the makeshift paddock. He was a quite smart horse. I neared him to take him into barn but he backed up.

"Hey boy it's just me." I stuck out my hand and stroked his long face. His soft brown eyes stared at me wearily. He snorted and flicked his tail being his usual self. I pulled on his halter to lead him into the stable.  He pulled against his bit not wanting to move. I pulled again this time a bit harder. He still wouldn't budge.

"Come on just move you stupid animal!" I began to lose my patience. It was so difficult to do something so simple, I can't do this Nemeria just married a pigs backside and she expects me to be okay with it? I struggled against the horse trying and pulling again and again to get the large horse to move until I pulled to hard.

Nemeria

I woke up to a sharp pain in my head. I tried to open my eyes but it feels like I'm paralysed. I can't move. I tried again to open my eyes, getting them to open a little bit. A bright light shone into my eyes, it , must be daytime.

"She's awake" I heard a slightly familiar voice, Turak...? "Nemeria, if you can hear me open your eyes." The voice instructed. I slightly flickered my eyelids. I managed to get my eyes open and they adjusted to the light and I found myself looking into the light blue eyes of Turak. His face was swarmed with confusion and worry.

My mother appeared with a cup of broth. She handed the warm liquid to me and I eagerly took it, I was freezing and my mother's broth was the best in the village. I drank the remains down and handed the cup back to my mother.  She placed her palm to my forehead.

"How are you feeling?" she asked her eyebrows scrunching together as if she already knew the answer.

"I'm fine my head just hurts." I said trying to push my self up into a sitting position.  I winced at the pain in the side of  my head.

"Woah I think you should keep lying down." Turak said gently pushing me down.

"What happened?I can't remember anything from after leaving the celebration." I said.

"You were walking and you tripped over a rock and you hit your head really badly." My mother said weakly, she smiled at Turak, but his glance back was cold.

"Well I must of been pretty stupid to trip over a rock." yeah I thought to myself you really made a fool of yourself the how village will know.

"Be glad Turak found you." my mother said rubbing my shoulder soothingly. I glanced at Turak. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

I got up painfully but I managed to get passed the pain and I hugged Turak. His arms cradled me carefully.

"Thank you for caring. " I whispered. I felt him grin against my shoulder.
