Something poked at my side. I tried to open my eyes but it was difficult. I looked up, leaves hung all around my face. I was in a tree. Why was i in a tree. I sat up and looked around, i was sitting in a tree house. Not any tree house, the one Yasitu and i made together for my 16th birthday. On the edge of the tree house, sat Yasitu, he was hunched over, his head in his hands. He was crying.

"Yasitu?" I called pulling my self over to where he sat. He looked up at me, his eyes staring right into mine. I gasped, and cover my mouth with shock. His beautiful blue eyes, we're no longer blue. They were golden. He tore his body away and stood up, he stopped and leaned his back against the side of the tree house.

Tears still ran down his face. What is going on?

"Yasitu, why are you crying, why are we here?" I asked. He looked at me with guilt clear in his eyes.

"I didn't mean too!" He shouted, before he collapse and started sobbing uncontrollably.

"You didn't mean to what?" I asked crouching down in front of him.

"Kill him! I was taking him back, a-and he wouldn't move, I got angry, i dont know why! I killed him!" He said through sobs. I had never seen Yasitu cry like this before.

"Who?" I asked, chocking in my own tears.

"Petaine, it was me Nemeria. " he said, now in a whisper.

I couldn't think. I didn't know what to think. All I knew was that Yasitu's eyes were burning holes deep into my soul and I couldn't look away. It wasn't possible. He wouldn't of. I felt my lips tremble as tears spilled out my eyes.

"But how?" I asked softly. "I don't understand."

"I-I" he said, before taking a deep breath. " I don't either, I don't remember."

I looked closely at Yasitu. I looked at his cheek, where the scratch had been, it was gone. I reached out and touched his cheek, slowly caressing his skin with my finger tips. He looked at me with his liquid gold eyes, hidden under long dark eyelashes. His face was covered with dark stubble. Yasitu was always neatly groomed.

"Why haven't you groomed yourself?" I asked, running my thumb across his jawline. He pulled my hand away from his face and rested in in between his own.

"I did this morning, it just grew back." He said quietly. He pulled at his skin, irritated at the short hair that was growing out his face.

"I like it."I said quietly, more to myself than to him. "Why did you bring me here, wait , how did I get here.?"
Yasitu looked at me funny.
"I found you in the woods. You were knocked out cold, and we haven't been here In a long time." He said.

"I'm glad you found me, because I need to tell you something." I said.

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"What?"

"I said I love you, I always have, I don't love Turak. You are the only man I could ever love."

Yasitu looked at me astonished. He looked really uncomfortable, I tried to think of something to say, but before I could, his lips crashed onto mine. I felt myself being pushed back. Yasitu was kissing me, actually kissing me. His hands were in my hair, and mine in his. It felt like forever, that i had waited for thu
