Sero burst through a final layer of trees and easily caught sight of a group of his classmates. They were fighting what Sero could only describe as the most disturbing villain he'd ever seen. The guy was using his teeth as weapons, growing them so long he could pretend they were stilts.
He suppressed a shudder as he ran to them. If he remembered correctly, this guy was moonfish. Or something like that.
Izuku said he was absolutely batshit crazy, resorting to cannibalism.
"Guys!" Sero shouted, trying to get their attention.
The group consisted of Todoroki, Bakugou, Tokoyami, Shouji, Uraraka, and Tsuyu. Only the last four spared Sero a glance, Todoroki and Bakugou were too preoccupied with the villain.
"Are you okay?!" Sero asked once he was close enough. Tsuyu and Uraraka looked a bit banged up, but the others looked relatively unscathed.
The brunette nodded her head once, looking back at the battle. It seemed Todoroki and Bakugou had it handled....
"Me and Tsu were attacked a little ways that way," she pointed further into the woods. "Some crazy blonde. She kept talking about blood." She shivered at the memory.
"Toga," Sero said quietly.
"Huh?" Uraraka asked, tilting her head slightly.
Sero sighed. He'd already told the Pussycats and a portion of his class, and it was just a matter of time before the rest found out, but he didn't have the energy to explain the full story again. "I know a lot about The League of Villains," was all he said.
She looked back at the battle. "Is that who these guys are?"
He nodded, looking back to see that Bakugou now stood on top of a passed out Moonfish. "Take that, you crazy fuck!" he yelled, kicking his side for good measure.
The whole group froze when they heard Mandalay's voice, courtesy of her quirk. "We've just been informed that they're after Bakugou," she said hurriedly. It sounded like she was going to say something else, but was cut off. Sero really hoped she was faring okay against the two villains back at camp.
All of the present members turned to Bakugou, wide eyed.
"What the hell do they want with me?" he growled, finally leaving the villain be. Sero had a few guesses.
"They probably saw the sports festival, thought you'd be the easiest to sway," Todoroki said a little too casually. Sero winced as Bakugou erupted into shouts.
Uraraka was actually the one to get him to shut up. "We don't have time to figure out why!"
The rest of the class went quiet and looked over at her.
"We need to get back to camp and the rest of the pros, it'll be safest for Bakugou and the rest of us," she explained.
Everyone nodded in agreement, although Bakugou seemed to want to go deeper into the woods. He just wanted to be able to beat people up without consequences.
It took them a little longer to get back to camp than it had taken Sero to reach them, due to the fact that they weren't running. They were too cautious and paranoid to risk running carelessly. When they finally made it back to camp, they took in the sight. Aizawa was fighting a black haired villain that Sero knew as Dabi based on the blue flames, but they watched as he turned to gray mush, only to reappear from around the corner. The Pussycats and the rest of their class were busy still trying to take down the two villains from earlier. Ragdoll was on the ground, not moving. Sero's breath hitched at the sight. The group from the woods rushed to help.
