𝙸𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎? (𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 3)

Finally you calmed down and made it to the back of the stage. You stand there feeling nervous. "What if I mess up.. people will find me dumb.." you say to yourself and wipe your sweaty hands on your dress. Suddenly you hear a high pitch hum from behind you. Before you could turn around, you feel two arms wrap around you from behind. "Dolores..?" You ask the person. "You won't do horrible, I've heard your voice, it's beautiful." She says not answering you. She stops hugging you and spins you around so you face her. "But what if i-" you get caught off by a finger to your lips. "Shh! You will do great! Trust me!" She says to you with a smile then moves her finger. You start to smile and nod your head. "Now we have... Y/n Martínez!" You hear a older voice say. "You better get going, I'll be in the crowd Mk? Keep in mind you only have to sing once." She says to reassure you. "Mk thanks Dolores." You say with a smile and quickly make your way to the stage. You walk up to the microphone and see the whole village staring at you, most of them with smiles. You put the microphone to your lips and start singing "Just The Way You Are, by Bruno Mars." As you sing every lyric everyone just looks up at you in awe, including the girl of your dreams. It felt like you were in a fairy tale. The sun was setting and lights were on you and a bunch of other people including Dolores. It made her dress shimmer like a goddess. You loved her so so much, more than words could explain. You couldn't wait to get done singing. She smiles at you while swaying to the song you were singing. After you finish everyone cheers and you make your way off the stage. Then music starts playing. The first song that plays is "This Side of Paradise, by Coyote Theory. You make your way to Dolores. "Dolores!" You shout and she turns around and makes her way to you. "You did great!" She says with a smile. You smile back at her. "I was gonna ask.. if you would like to dance..?" You ask her getting nervous all over again just for a different reason this time. "I would love to!" She says with a smile and quickly wraps her arms around you. You slowly wrap your arms around her because of how embarrassed you were. "Alright lovers, now is your turn!" The older man says through the microphone. You look at the ground as "Can't Help Falling In Love, by Elvis Presley" starts playing. She looks at you and smiles, she uses her finger to lift your head so you are making eye contact.

 

Like a river flows..surely to the sea...

"Dolores.. I need to tell you something.." you say to her.

Darling so it goes... some things, are meant to be...

"Actually y/n.. I need to tell you something to.." she says looking away a little as we continue to slow dance.

Take my hand... take my whole, life too

"You go first." You say with a smile "Mk..well I just wanted to say that I have.. well... how do I say this.." She start to say.

For I can't help....

"Say it however you want to Dolores.. no matter what.. I'll always be here for you... no matter what way.." you say to her with a smile and she smiles back at you as she moves her hands.

Falling in love...

She moves her hand to the back of your neck as she twirls a strand of your hair with her index finger with a smile. You feel your heart flutter in joy as you both move closer to each other.

With...

"Then how about this way.. mi amor.." she says with a smile moving closer to your face.

You...

You two both lock lips, finally getting the kiss you've both had wanted for years. This was the happiest moment of your life. The rest of the song was a blur as you kissed the woman of your dreams. You guys hold it before breaking it after 30 seconds. She looks down with a squeak as you stand there blushing like crazy. "Well.. y/n.. do you want to be my girlfriend?" She asks you now actually looking into your eyes with her head slightly tilted. You smile before answering her question. "I'd love to Dolores!" You say, you have never felt this excited in your whole life. "Would you like to head back to my place..? She asks you with a smile. "You can stay the night." She says once again. "I'd love to Dolores." You say and smile back. She grabs a hold of your hand and drags you back to the house. Once you two got there you both went straight to Dolores's room, changed into pajamas, fixed your hair and laid down.  You guys cuddle as you being the little spoon for tonight. You could finally be more confident and more happier now. Just the only difference is that you would be happy with someone. Someone you loved and cared for. That someone being... Dolores Madrigal.
