As Loki spills his story to the rest of them, 'Quarter Past Midnight' rolls through my mind to pass the time.

It's a quarter past midnight...

He explains that Bucky and I should go to infiltrate their compound to gather intel and collect their prisoners. Stark seems annoyed that Loki knew about this before he did and the others are genuinely confused on why Loki is even here. Frankly, it doesn't make sense. Something else has to be at play here.

Thor hasn't said much of anything, but he's glaring at Loki something fierce.

"Brother, why are you involved with this mess?" He finally contributes.

"Oh, they just may have the Tesseract.... Did I leave that part out?" All of us are now paying full attention. The room erupts into all of them talking over one another, mainly accusing Stark of losing it. Since apparently it was brought back to Earth to be studied, on the condition it would be safe.

Reclining back in my chair, I figure they can just bicker it out. It's not really my problem and I already finished my part of finding Loki. Checking on Peter, I find him watching me and then gestures to his math textbook.

Might as well, and it drives Stark nuts how close we are.

Pointing my thumb over my shoulder I gestured to the kitchen. We both stand as he gathers his books.

Kid is lucky. I like math and I'm good at it. Without a word he hands me the assignment and he puts on a playlist we made together. He almost knows me too well. I give him a rare smile.

Holding a finger, I turn to dig in the fridge. Finding someone's leftover chinese, I microwave it before returning to Peter and his... Trigonometry.

Long after I've finished the Chinese, with Saint's help and completed about half of Peter's homework, Dr. Banner comes looking for us.

"Ah there you two are.... Well, three. Anyway, Barnes and you are being sent in. Everyone but Peter and Cap will be waiting in the carrier to extract you both. Bucky will give you the details but here's the blueprint of the compound we managed to find."

Doc hands me a tablet with a schematic on it. Playing with it a bit, it seems to have decent security measures. The layout is fairly simple; top level is the offices, main floor seems to be storage and conference areas, the first underground level is testing rooms and then beneath that is the cells.

I nod at him, before leaving I fist bump with Peter and leave the answers for the rest of his problems scrawled on a piece of paper. Not without a firm glare to tell him to still do out the problems.

He smiles brightly at me, "No worries, I'll do them. Be safe, Addie."

Crossing my arms I do my best to pay attention to Bucky.... Who is telling me the plan for the third time. On top of that I hate being on planes that I'm not flying, it's why I have my own damn plane for ops and if I can't fly there's a very short list of people who I trust to fly me.
