August 12, 2019- Loki
"Brother, we must go." The oaf repeats but I can't bring myself to really acknowledge him.
How can I leave the little star when I know of the deceit here?
The malicious deceit, may I add. From the way they act it's either all or only one. Maybe only two, but they're all good at keeping their distance from me. Enough to keep their minds out of reach, especially given how draining that mortal scum was on my abilities.
Again my brother impatiently shifts his boots and passes his beloved hammer between his meaty hands. Two of my prime suspicions stand in front of me, neither looking too upset at my leaving. The American man holds himself stiffly, much stiffer than an Asgardian warrior would ever dare and the other, Stark, has a more passive look. That he'd rather be somewhere else or has more important things to do.
Neither sways my suspicions of them, but I do my best to trust my instincts, I need someone to know before I leave Midgard. "Stark?" The man jerks in surprise, but I ignore that, "Keep an eye on her? If not for me, for the soldier?"
Both of their eyes narrow and I can feel my brother's gaze on my back, but I'm beyond care by now, "Something is coming. Something much bigger than we've ever dealt with, this whole thing is off. Can't you feel that?" My own seidr is even skittish at the events on the horizon, another reason for my difficulties in exploring their thoughts.
The hesitation is plainly written in his face but the subtle shift in his eyes and his stance tells me he knows it, too. There is something they know they have yet to share with us as we are being called away for Asgard.
Shaking his head, he waves me away towards Thor, "Go Reindeer games, we got this. Come on Cap." With that he picks up his device and the blonde shakes his head before handing the case containing the item that started all of this to my brother.
Thor's heavy hand lands on my shoulder, and with a light squeeze he raises his hammer and calls for Heimdall, who encases us in the blinding light of the bifrost.

Not even a minute goes by before Heimdall is already engaging with us,"Prince Thor, Prince Loki. Welcome home, sadly not in the best circumstances."
"Ah, Heimdall, it's always a pleasure to return home." He boasts but his bravado is fake, his smile is too big and his movements too exaggerated. He dismisses my brother with a noble nod.
"Prince Loki, may I speak?" He waits to ask till Thor's already on the rainbow bridge and I feel my blood run cold briefly, this is new.
"Of course, you see everything after all." My words don't come out as lightweight as I hope but he reveals nothing. He steps down off the platform of the bifrost and faces me, his golden armor reflecting as he does.
"There are many events at play, I'm sure you are aware, but there is one that I am hopelessly blind to. From what I gather you know this Midgardian as Adhara." Instantly I freeze... he can't- "You cannot see her?"
He watches me for another moment, "No, my prince. Whatever the fates have planned, they have taken her from my sights. Something like this has never occurred before. Strangely enough, I used to be able to see her as well." Now truly a chill spreads through me.
