Taking out the guards on the first level is almost too easy. There are only a handful we come across that are easily taken care of between the three of us. Especially with Loki's magic or whatever.

Both hands tighten on the guns in them as the elevator descends to the bottom level. Terror rings through me, my doll is reliving some of her worst memories.

We all glance at each other and shrug, as the elevator doors open, cold air rushes in, so cold it bites at my skin.

The music only gets louder and there are no guards in sight. With barely any light, slowly we move towards the music. The ice rink comes into view and she's illuminated in the spotlight.

I stop, caught up in watching her dancing across the ice, then the tempo in the music changes. With a quick turn she shoots out of the light into the dark, a scream echoes. Then a large man is thrown back into the spotlight, covered in blood.

Interestingly enough he doesn't try to get away, he just lays there moaning in pain.

She didn't reappear until three men lay in the spotlight, spread out to form a triangle. Blood is smeared on half her face and her eyes seem unfocused, like she isn't really here. The other half is swollen, her nose obviously broken, and is already bruising, I know they'd hurt her buck fuck. Seeing it makes me want to kill each one who laid a hand on my doll.

Adhara spins in a circle around the men, spraying ice over them as she comes to a halt. The music tempo slows as she approaches the men, dancing in the spaces between their bodies. She doesn't stop once, constantly turning and weaving her way through them.

Suddenly those times she's sleep-walked onto the frozen pond made sense.

The music slows but becomes more daunting in tone as she passes each man she leans down with the knives in her hands to slash the arteries in their throats. She then weaves back through them, slashing for the arteries in the legs.

Blood pours from them, staining the ice a deep red as she circles them three times, the music picks up the pace again and she vanishes from the light. The tang of iron fills the air.

"Well, well, the little star is putting on quite a show. As much as I'd like to keep watching, shouldn't we be killing someone?" Loki is right, dragging my eyes from her, I scan around the rink. Morozov has to be watching, this is obviously a show for him.

An act to show off his toy's special tricks.

Off to the left, a soft light illuminates him along with three men and a small woman. The other two watch me as I motion towards the group. Pointing at myself then Natasha, I held up three fingers. Indicating that we will take out the guards.

Pointing at Loki I then point at the old man and an evil smirk crosses his face. Snapping my finger I shake my head as I draw a line across my throat. He can't kill him yet.

Honestly I'm not sure if he'll listen for whatever reason he's obsessed with Adhara and I can't decide if I want to kill him or let her go at him. A long time ago we were more but we both made mistakes. It kills me every day we're apart.

We function better as partners or I've come to learn the term friends with benefits fits us quite well, occasionally. We don't trust easily, hell I barely trust Steve but my doll? I trust her with my life.
