Whispers echo through the dull heart, silently longing for color, wondering wishfully when blue waters would work it's way through the tiny veins and awaken the spring of blooming flowers, that would erupt around the grey soul trapped in the metal cage and bring life to the empty flesh.

Whispers echo through the dull heart, ringing warning bells, alerting the aching soul that it is still in danger and time is winding down, That the storm is still brewing and the waves are getting more aggressive. Warning the soul that the flashes of lightening that lighten it is but a wave, that only stays for so long until it seeps back into the wilderness it calls home.

Whispers echo through the dull heart, whimpers sounding like a blaring siren surround it. The sound of fragile glass cracking rings through the hollow hole and forces out a sea of red that washes through the soul and flesh yet still no color is seen because red is also dark and dark is also grey and grey is also depressed and depression equals to death. Death owns no color, neither does a dull heart yet they both still yearn for each other as they long for color, knowing it won't be found but finding comfort in each other.

Whispers echo through the dull heart, whispering out wicked secrets. Willing the heart to swallow, words and wonders, while it feels itself aching. The timid sound of delicate voices haunts the wrecking soul, making it wonder like a widow and sway like a willow under heavy winds. The echoes of a fragile girl hiding in her dark cell, moaning out in pain and loneliness are so daunting that the metal cages begin to waver and a crack finally appears. The pale grey soul starts to fade into white but the soul is so black that it shall leave the wretched world blissfully purely impure. Tears rain in color, calling out to the dull heart in echoes, but the shades look like a drop of murky water in the desert and the dull heart succumbed to fate and fell into the sweet empty space.
