Ship wreck

"EVERYONE OFF THE SHIP!" Was the last thing I heard before our ship was in flames. And the last thing I saw.

I woke up on a Island. Being Very confused I got up and squeezed the water out of my hair and dress. I look at the moon. "Where am I." I muttered. I saw the ocean in front of me. I'm definitely not in Mexico anymore. I look around at my bear feet. I looked around to find my flip flops and thank god they weren't in the ocean. I saw something shiny next to my shoes. It was a crystal. I digged it out to see it was a necklace. I thought why not waste such a pretty necklace. So I put it on. It stopped glowing. Weird. But I didn't really think anything of it.

I started to walk for what felt like hours at a time. I even saw the sun coming up. "I wish I would have just found a village all ready!" I yelled. Walking some further, I heard voices, "What about Mirabel!" I must be near a village! Thank you lord!

As I walked into the village I got lots of friendly 'Hola' 'hello' and 'welcome to Encanto' I wasn't looking for where I was going and I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oh- I'm sorry." I say.

"It's fine I wasn't looking." He said. He had curly brown hair and he wasn't to tall but tall enough for me to look at him. And he was very cute. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around."

"Er- yes. I'm very new." We both chuckled.

"Well welcome to Encanto! Want me to show you around?" He asked. Aw man. Is this really happening? It's happening.

"Yeah, sure. Gracias." I said. Man did I really had to use my Spanish.

"Great. Follow me to show you Encanto!" He said. I giggled. He is quite the funny one.

"Over here is the family Madrigal, do you know the story of the family Madrigal?" I shook my head 'no'
"Well, long story short, my abuela was giving a special candle to help her through her darkest time. The candle gave everyone in the Madrigal family a special gift." I noticed on the wall it had the boy on it.

"Your on the wall? Your apart of the family Madrigal?" I asked.

"Yep, yep. My family is big, we all have special gifts. I don't have time to tell you everyone's gift but if you want, my little brother is having his gift ceremony, you can come. It's at La Casa de Madrigal-"

"CAMILO! COME HELP POR FAVOR!" Someone yelled.

"OK, COMING MAMÁ! I'll see you later hopefully?" I nodded. "Cool, bye!" He ran off to the big house. He was super nice.
