I was walking back to Casita when Dolores came up to me.

"So?" Is all that she said. I gave her a confused look. "How did it go? With Tío Bruno?"

"Oh, it went well."

"Did you find out- you know"

"Yeah." I said opening my bag a little to show her the green glass picture. She smiled.

"That's good." She said. I nodded. She started to walk away.

"Dolores wait-" she stopped. "Do you know where everyone is at?" I asked. She nodded.

"Abuela is in her room. My mom, Tía Julieta, and your mom are in the village. Antonio is with tío Agustín and my papà."

"Thank you- but do you know where Camilo is?" I asked. She did her little pose thing.

"No. That's odd. He's quiet." She said. That made me confused. Camilo? Quiet? "Maybe you should go look for him, Angel." She said.

"Yeah. That's weird, Camilo is never quiet. I see you later Dolores, thank you!" I said before walking away quickly.

Maybe he's in town. I thought walking down the hallway and going into my room. I check his room and he wasn't there. The time I want to show him something he's not here. No, I need to show him. This is important. Maybe I should give him some time. But was he mad at me? I don't think so. I mean I haven't seen him all morning.
I checked in the mirror to make sure my hair isn't that much of a mess and it wasn't. I grabbed a few coins and put it in my bag before I left.

-

"Buenos días, Angel!"

"Good morning to you too Mr. Santana!" I said, walking up to him.

"Need some more fabric?" He asked. I shook my head 'no'.

"Not today, Mr. Santana." He raised his eyebrows. "I need some ribbon." I say.

"Ribbon?" He repeated, I nodded, softly. "Like hair ribbon, or dress ribbon."

"Hair ribbon. Mint green, to be exact." I say.

"Ah, to match you dress. Nice, nice. I think I have the exact color, too. Let me check." He walked into the back for a few moments before coming back out with a hair ribbon. "Like this one?" He asked.

"Yes! Gracias, Mr. Santana!" It was the exact color i was looking for, too. "How much do I owe you?"

"Nothing. For you it's free."

"No, no, no. I have to give you something." I say.

"No, no, no, Angel. It's for you." He said. I was digging in my bag for the coins but between the big green picture all I could pull out was ten peso.

"Here." I say putting it on the counter.

"No." He said trying to give it back, but before he can I was already leaving.

"Thank you, and bye Mr. Santana!" I shouted before leaving.

"Hey! Look! It's the new Madrigal girl! Angel!" I heard some little kids voice yell. I look over and there was a group of little kids.

"I'm not a Madrigal, sadly." I said.

"You sure?" The one girl asked me.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure."

"But you lived there!" The boy with coffee said.

"One, aren't you to young for coffee? And two just because I live there doesn't mean I'm a Madrigal." I smiled.
