"Mhm. This is good. Thank you!" Eddie- or should I say papà, said, eating his food.

"I'm glad you like it." Julieta said.

"Um, I have a question." Mirabel said. Everyone looked up at her. "If you don't mind- what happened between you and Argentina?" Papà let out a little chuckle.

"Hm, where to begin, well, many, many years back, Argentina and Angelica- Angel's mother were friends. Angel's mother, Veronica, was Argentina's only friend because Argentina was very ugly." Everyone laughed at the impolite comment. But to be fair, I did too. "But, Argentina grew to be jealous of Veronica, because of Veronica's beauty. She also grew to be distant from Veronica from jealousy. She was jealous from the fact she married me." Once again Everyone laughed.

"Papà! Get back to the story!" I said. He chuckled.

"Alright! Alright! Once Argentina had a child, Veronica also had a child- Carlos." Everyone stared in confusion. "And then Veronica had another child- Angel. But Argentina was obsessed with Angel. Her hair, skin, eyes, ect. She wanted Angel so bad that she even tried to sneak into our house and steal Angel. Which we put a stop to right away. But soon, Veronica threatened  she would tell the church about what she was doing and Argentina stopped. Well fasted forward years and years there was a terrible attack at out village. We don't know who caused it or why but it happened. So everyone- well not everyone but some people was put onto ships. Me and my family were lucky to get on the ship. But Argentina also had been lucky too. The next thing I know, Argentina forced Veronica to talk to her privately and that was the last I ever heard from her mother."

Everyone was speechless. Except for Mirabel. "What ever happened to Carlos?" She asked.

"Oh! He's still in the woods." Papà- wait. WHAT! "I probably should bring him in. May I?" He asked abuela. And she nodded.
The next thing I know he's bringing in my brother!

"Carlos!" I said, jumping up from my seat to hug him.

"Angel!" He exclaimed holding me in a hug. "I swear if I ever lose you again-"

"It won't happen." Abuela said, smiling. "Our Encanto is a safe environment." Carlos smiled his corky smile. "Which leads me to the question: Eddie, would you like to stay with us, here, in our home?" Please say yes. I thought. I looked over to Camilo and he looks like he was thinking the same thing.

"I mean, if we can then sure. Thank you!" I was so happy! I wanted to jump up and down, but I couldn't since it was dinner.
