Chapter 11: First Encounter

3rd Pov:

(Y/N): Are you sure you guys are comfortable wearing those robes?

Kiba: I'm sure, nothing will stand in the way of me and my goal.

(Y/N): Alright then.

Xenovia: This would be more efficient if we split up into two groups.

(Y/N): It's most logical, we'll look on the east side.

Xenovia: Then I and Irina will search the west. Don't hesitate to call us if anything goes wrong. And one last thing, as thanks for all you've done for us, there is something of grave importance you should know: The White One has awoken.

Timeskip

The three devils and demigod are seen walking down a street, keeping an eye out for any sign of trouble. (Y/N), meanwhile, is talking with Ddraig in his mind.

Ddriag:*Mind* All I'm saying is: Be careful. You may be strong, but we have no idea how strong the White One is too.

Koneko: Are you ok (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Hmm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just trying to think of places to look.

Kiba: Most likely a secluded area, Freed may be insane, but he's not an idiot.

(Y/N): Do you have any place in mind then?

The group all followed as Kiba lead the way to an abandoned building.

(Y/N): So, this is the place?

Kiba: Yes, we've fought a stray devil here relatively recently, before you came along.

The four began to enter the building when the devils of the group got a strange feeling.

Koneko: Kiba, wait. Look!

They all turned and saw Freed jumping off the roof headed straight for Kiba. Luckily, the knight was fast enough and summoned a sword to block Freed's strike, knocking said priest back.

Saji: Is that the stray priest?

(Y/N): Has to be, if that psychotic smile is any indication. But I'd be willing to bet money that's him.

Freed: Well, well, well. What do we have here? A devil playing dress-up, I was on the hunt for priests but devils are even better!

(Y/N): Yup, looks like I win the pot.

The three then threw off their robes and (Y/N) twisted his necklace, allowing his armor to appear over his body.

Freed: Oh boy! Four devils in one night? I feel so popular right now!

Kiba: Don't get too excited, I'm your only opponent.

(Y/N):*Stepping up* Yeah, right. If you think we're going through all this trouble just so you can do anything, then you're wrong Kiba.

Kiba: Stay out of this, (Y/N). Trust me.

(Y/N):...Fine

He stepped back and whispered something in Koneko's ear, she nodded and took out her phone. Kiba, meanwhile, jumped onto the roof to duel Freed.

Freed: I always love how you devils just throw yourselves at me, just begging for death! AT LEAST IT LETS ME USE MY TOYS! GAME OVER, THANKS FOR PLAYING!!!

Kiba was able to block the mid-air strike, but Freed wasn't letting up.

Freed: Those bastards in the church call this sword Excalibur Rapidly! BUT I JUST LIKE TO CALL IT THE SUPER-FAST SWORD!
