Buck sigh as he opens the box, was he being desperate and lonely? Yes but he won't be anymore.

Buck looks at the robot,it was shorter then him so it was easier to move, he moved it to the couch. He then presses the power on button.

The robot eyes glow and turns to buck "hello i am AI921 your robot friend what would you like to name me." The robot tilt his head and looked at buck

Buck thought for a moment, what could he name the robot. Not something stupid that he'll regret or something he fines a total bore

"Eddie."

Buck smiles and thought the name was perfect for him. Eddie looks around the room then stands up "nice to meet you.." Eddie was gonna do a scan on buck but buck quickly saids his name outloud

"Buck. The names buck." Buck sighed and sat down on the couch he leans over his table to grab the remote "Wanna watch a movie together?" Buck asked

"I would love to." Eddie smiles then sat back down on the couch and watches whatever movie buck put on.

The next day buck woke up to him on top of Eddie in a cuddle position then yawns and stretches himself up.

"Good morning buck." Eddie eyes blink open when he felt movement "what would you like to eat." Eddie puts buck on the couch and walks over to the kitchen

"I'll have pancakes and coffee I'm gonna get ready for work." Buck went to his bed and got ready for work, he worked at 118 a fire department as a firefighter

Eddie hands bucks the food and walks around to waste time.

Buck leaves after he ate his food with a smile on his face.

After 10 months of the friendship growing buck met a girl during a helicopter accident. A redhead named Taylor

Buck got home late from work and was on the phone with Taylor "yeah I can't wait to come over I'll see you tomorrow." He hung up the phone

Eddie runs up to buck like a dog who sees his owner
"Hey buck! How was your day?" He smiles

Buck yawns and looks at Eddie "it was tiring." He walks to his room

"Would you like for me to make you a meal or put a movie on?" Eddie suggested and buck shook his head

"No thanks I just need some rest." Buck changes and went straight to bed

Eddie nods a little disappointed and walks downstairs and stares at the tv

This would happen for a few months till Buck didn't show up for 3 weeks

Buck walks into the door and smiles "I miss this place." He puts his bag down and Eddie ran up to him

"Buck! Where have you've been?" Eddie tilt his head but was happy to see Buck that he gave him a hug

Buck pat his back then pulled away from the hug "I was at my girlfriends place. I'm just here for a bit."
he said looking at Eddie

"I miss you buck.." Eddie looked down and frowns a bit "it's just for a bit longer that im gonna stay with her at her place." Buck lifted Eddie chin so he would look at him "I just need you to stay here I'll come back home and we can spend as many times as you want I promise." Buck smiles and goes to his room to pack up

Eddie smiles then sits down infront of the tv, buck spent one night at his home before he took off to go to Taylor's.

It started off of one week, then two weeks, then three months, till 6 months.

Eddie began to rust and grew lonely. Over the 6 month time period. He would always check the window incase he saw buck car. Then would sit back infront of the tv

Buck finally came home and saw a note on the table, he grabs the note but then he heard water dripping and rushed to the kitchen.

There Eddie was next to an empty glass of water that he spilled. Eddie body was lifeless. Buck looks at Eddie body fizzle out for one last time.

Buck had to sit down "this can't be happening.. this has to be a dream" he thought and rubbed his head trying to get out the 'dream'

Buck finally looked at the letter and that made him breakdown in tears. Eddie wasn't stable alone and finally stopped waiting for buck.

"I was gone too long.. I broke the promise I'm so sorry Eddie.."Buck said through sniffles and looked at Eddie body one last time
