The next morning, the whole school was on edge. A snitch was among them, and it wasn't going to be pretty when they found who it was.

"Here's what I know," Frypan said, closing his locker. "Ben and Melinda had planned to do-the-do before they came to the campus. They were gone by morning."

"See, they broke the Riverwood trifecta. One, genital contact. Two, being high on school grounds. And three, already drunk when it happened. That is a one way ticket to expulsion," Frypan explained.

Minhi shook his head, "As much as I hate to say it, Ben is right. Someone ratted them out, but who knew? Who did they tell?"

Frypan turned, walking backwards to face Minho and Thomas. "Their roomates, Newt and Athe...and whoever saw them through the window, which was open."

Minho groaned, tightly gripping his bag straps. "That's like a hundred in one chance of finding them." "More like a thousand and one, who knows who was lurking around."

Thomas decided to say something, "Well, Newt was with me so there's no way he could be the snitch." Minho nodded, "And, he would never. Newt hates sitches with a passion. Someone should ask Athe because she knew too, and is the only one we can pin down right away."

"You're correct, I'm gonna talk to her after classes. Only the first day back and we already have casualties."

"We all have the same first class, I guess we should go to it."

The boys walked across the campus to a huge, dome-shaped building that was made of glass and brick. The tables lined across the semi-circle, giving two to a table.

Thomas went to sit down when a girl touched the same seat as him. "Oh, I'm sorry for taking your seat," the girl said, moving. "No, it's okay. I've never been in this class."

"Me neither, I'm Meridith," she said. "Thomas," he nodded his head, not realizing Minho, Frypan, and Newt all looking at him. He sat down, Meridith taking the seat next to him.

Newt smiled at him, raising his eyebrows. Thomas furrowed his eyebrow at the blonde, making Newt laugh a little. With a smirk, he nodded his head at the platinum blonde girl.

Thomas blushed and sat down as the door opened and the teacher walked in. He had graying hair and tan skin. He walked slowly but with confidence. "Who are you?" the man asked with a booming but calming voice.

He sat on the edge of his desk with a smile. "Dr. Gallaraga, the man is crazy," Minho whispered to Thomas, causing Newt to hit his leg. "Shut up, Minho."

"Now, you'd probably say your name. That's not what I am asking. Who are you?"

Thomas looked at his desk, seeing the small dents made from past students. The class was silent, the only sound was Mr. Gallaraga's deep breathing.

"Well, you're only sixteen so you wouldn't know; right?" he questioned. Some of the teens nodded while others stayed still and silent. "Wrong," he whispered.

"Religion is important whether you believe in it or not, just like history is important whether you've lived through it or not. As for me, I probably have." He made Thomas smile and Minho laugh, causing Newt to smack his leg again.
