It was quarter pass 6, way too late for me to finish working when I heard my phone rang. I saw anton's picture on the screen and immediately answered and said "Hey babe, im just heading out" I heard a honk on the background which tells me he is currently driving and said "Actually, i was about to ask if okay lang sayo magstop by sa isang bar before heading home?" I paused and confusion just struck me "Bar?" I asked. "Yeap, we were brainstorming kung ano yung first feature namin for the first episode - the head writer of our creatives suggested a bar that has this heart breaking backstory. The whole team is about to head there sana"

"Ahh. I see" I responded while looking for my keys in my bag before I lock my office. "If you're not comfortable, thats fine. I can pick you up, drop you off then go there na lang after." Anton knows Im very hesitant when it comes to the old lifestyle I have. I havent even tasted beer for the past 2 years. Mostly wine lang talaga. I started hating the atmosphere of bars too pero I dont wanna miss out on his first day of working. Im lucky that he's involving me on this pa nga eh. "Can I think about it?" I asked. He giggled and said "Unfortunately babe, you cant. I'm in your parking area in the next 3 minutes - you know what. Its fine - ill take you home and ill just meet the rest of team sa bar." I pouted kahit alam kong he cant see me, Im pressing the elevator button as I was speaking to him "Bat ba kasi bar? Nakakainis naman eh." He laughed and said "medyo, celebration na din and get together since new team kami. If this goes well, we will start to shoot the day after tomorrow and by next week, We have a story and makikita mo na ko sa TV" I giggled and said "I can imagine your smirk on my head, nakakadiri." He laughed. "Andito na yung elevator babe. I'll see you downstairs!"

I saw anton, waiting while leaning on his car. I went up to him and kissed him. He asked "tara?" While walking to the passenger side of his car. I got in while thinking if I should join him with his team or not. As soon as he got inside the car he asked "Hey, may problema ba" i gave him a reassuring smile and said "wala, asan na pala yung mga kateam mo?" He started the engine and said "Nauna na don, sabi ko susunod na lang ako. Kilala nung writer namin yung mayari eh. Technically babe - inuman lang naman yun. Hahahaha. Excuse lang namin yung icheck yung bar for the story. Sobrang saya sa meeting kanina or Im just so happy I got the job? Not a dull moment eh. Andaming ideas - sana mataas rating. Ill start as a trendy host sa umagang kay ganda then work my way up from there." He continously talks about his dream that amazes me how he is working hard for what he wants. I cut him off and said "Sama na lang ako sa bar." He looked at me shocked and looked back on the road and asked "sure ka? I mean no pressure naman kasi so parang kahit mag no ka okay lang for me"

I gave him a smile and said "Yes im sure and Im not pressured. Besides, I want to meet this amazing team na sinasabi mo" he laughed hard and we talked about our day. My phone beeped as I received a text message, it was my dad asking kung  kelan ako dadalaw. I conversed with him as he was asking how was my work and all that stuff. I didnt even notice how long i was looking at my cellphone kasi it feels good to have this kind of relationship with my dad again when I heard Anton said "We're here" i looked up and anxiety immediately sinked. The parking looks familiar - open area parking to ng metrowalk. I looked at anton, his phone rang and he immediately answered with a grin on his face and said "Were here, kakapark lang. Yes pare, see you!" He ended the call and looked at me "Tara?" He saw hesitation on my eyes and said "Mabait sila, they wont bite. Come on!" He went down and ran to my side of the car and opened the door for me. I took his hand still with anxiety creeping in.

While walking, I asked "By any chance, Fill ba yung name ng bar?" He was holding my hand and said "Ata, oh ayun na pala sila eh" I saw him wave at a group of people waiting outside gretchen's bar as if waiting for us. Magkakapanic attack ata ako.

"Si dennise girlfriend ko, si patrick tech head namin, si angelo, head ng editing and design team, si Tris, producer rep ng segment namin and then si laura head writer namin." I waived at them and gave the guys a hand shake. Si laura naman, bineso ko. Laura suddenly said "Ano tara? Habang wala pa masyadong tao then gretch can tell us the back story para we can all decide after." We all went it and dirediretso si laura as if may table na kami and seems like Im right - the place looks so different. Mas high class na sya compared before. Im kinda happy it looks different, somehow it made me feel na nothing tragic will happen then I saw someone stand up from the table where laura was heading to - nakatalikod yung person na yun nung una so di ko nakita kung sino sya. That person stood up and kissed laura on the side of her head and I heard laura say "Guys, this is alyssa valdez she knows that owner" alyssa looked at all of us and I saw her smile dissapear as she looked at me.

In my head, I was just thinking *tangina mahaba habang gabi to*
