Many people say that when life is hard its just like a storm. like a thunder storm that will go away eventually. Its a way of saying it will get better. that it comes and goes. But Taehyung didn't live by that. The amount of times he would have to hear that sentence made him annoyed. Angry. He didn't want to hear it anymore. It never applied to him. Because he sees that he can never get better. the storm will never go away. He had no hope whatsoever.

On a Monday afternoon, Taehyung was at home reading. He decided to take a day off since he didn't have to do anything in collage. There was no work set for him. He has been reading for the past two hours and as he was sitting on his chair at his desk his head resting on his hand was falling because he kept drifting off to sleep. Until he heard his phone buzz. He weakly opened his eyes and reached over for it unlocking it and seeing a message from the younger boy.

Kookie: I didn't see you in art today, were you off?

The blonde haired boy quickly sent a reply.

Tae: Yeah there was no work set for me

Kookie: oh okay! I wanted to ask if you wanna come over today and finish off the art project with me?

Tae: okay

kookie: Great! my address is 'xxxx'

Taehyung sat his phone down and started to get changed. He put on a oversized black shirt with ripped jeans and a pair of shoes. Making his way down stairs he took a peak in the mirror before leaving out of the door. He didn't like how he looked. In fact he hated how he looked. He wanted to die just by looking at himself. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't even realise that his mum were speaking to him.

"Taehyung, me and your father have to go out for a business trip for a few days. Will you be okay on your own?" Taehyung nodded at his mother, she gave him a kiss on the forehead as she walked towards the door. "There is plenty of food in the fridge so make sure you eat. There is keys for you to lock the doors and get in as well. Love you dear." with that, she left as well as his father waving, not saying anything because he was on a phone call. Taehyung ran other to the counter and grabbed the keys then went out the door just a few minutes after.

He arrived to the address the younger texted him. He slowly reached out and knocked onto the door seeing a raven head jungkook opening it and gave a bright smile. "My parents are working today, so we have the house to ourselves for a bit" Jungkook said as he closed the door behind Taehyung. The house was just a regular house for a small family. He saw baby photos of Jungkook and family photos of him with others. the walls painted in white with a wooden floor.

They both made their way to Jungkook's room and Jungkook went to his closet to get out the big folder with the butterfly they had been working on for the past few days. The wings were coloured in a golden yellow with some glitter across it. Words of 'Spread your wings and fly' as the title. "It looks great so far" Jungkook said with excitement. "Thanks to most of your help" Taehyung replied earning a smiling Jungkook. They both sat down on the floor and started writing quotes and drawing small things around or on the butterfly in a calming silence of concentration.

After a few hours or so, Taehyung finished drawing some smaller butterflies surrounding people and some stars making it look cute. "done" he said proudly. He turned to Jungkook and saw him zoned out so he decided to not say anything and look away, until his head quickly shot back to Jungkook again after he heard his name.

"Taehyung?" he paused for a bit.

"Why were you doing this project alone before I came?"

he asked still looking into the atmosphere laying on his stomach with his hand resting on his chin then looking at him. Taehyung was afraid he would ask this. He bit his lip. He didn't want Jungkook to think of him as some loner as well.

"I uhm...I just didn't wanna work with anyone." Lies. "You know you can tell me, right?" Jungkook reassured him. Taehyung didn't look at him. Instead he just looked away. "You don't have to tell me. But I do hope your okay." The younger smiled as he looked at him. They went silent again.

"you know," the younger spoke, "I'm actually glad we became friends. I had a hard time finding a friend. I didn't have much hope at the start.." He looked up at Taehyung, "but I met you"
