Tony was evacuating the airport, Peter had been ordered to hide while they tried to talk some sense into the other group. Pietro was a little nervous at the thought of fighting his sister.

"It's always been the two of us," He told C.C. "Ever since we lost our parents... some of it feels very wrong— accepting Stark's offer, to begin with, signing the accords even though Wanda's against it..."

"She'll understand that we're doing this so she doesn't carry any more deaths on her shoulders. The accords stop us from making any more mistakes, I'm already kinda hesitant to fight today..."

"Yeah, I know what you mean," He ran a hand through his hair. "But I still don't like it."

"Must be nice to have someone that's always been with you," She smiled a little.

"Bad times are easier to get through when you have someone," He sighed. "I hope she remembers that..."

Pietro and C.C. ran towards the group of adults, they arrived at the same time, a cloud of dust floating around them.

"Nice look," War machine spoke to her. "Cute ears."

"Completely useless too," She retorted, her gaze moving towards Steve. "Been a while, Cap."

"Copy," He sighed, "Pietro, your sister's worried about you."

"She should worry about herself," He answered. "She's about to ruin the chance we had of a decent life and it's all your fault. Are you really going to force her to fight me?"

"Alright, I've run out of patience," Tony sighed. "Underoos!"

Peter jumped from the bridge above them and seized Steve's shield, sticking Cap's hands together. With a backflip, he landed on top of a small cart in what C.C. considered a solid superhero pose.

"Nice job, kid," Tony commented.

"Thanks," Peter replied. "I could've stuck the landing a little better, it's just the new suit— it's nothing Mr. Stark, it's perfect. Thank you."

"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation," Tony said.

"Okay. Cap— Captain," Peter saluted Steve. "Big fan, I'm Spider-man."

C.C. look down and shook her head in embarrassment.

"Strong first impression, huh?" Pietro smirked.

"I hope I die today," She groaned.

"You've been busy," Steve taunted.

"And you've been a complete idiot," Tony spat. "Dragging in Clint, rescuing Wanda from a place she doesn't even wanna leave, a safe place, away from the last family member she's got left— I'm trying to keep..." He took a deep breath. "I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart."

"You did that when you signed," Steve replied calmly.

"Alright, we're done," Tony raised his voice. "You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us because it's us, or a squad of J-SOC guys with no compunction about being impolite... come on."

Steve looked away, he was set on not listening. The man raised his hands and an arrow cut through the web keeping his hands together, Tony put on his helmet.

"Hey, something—"

A man materialized from Cap's shield and kicked Peter in the face. The stranger grabbed a hold of the object and landed next to Steve.

"What the hell was that?" Rhodes breathed.

"Who the hell is that?" C.C. scowled.

"I believe this is yours, Captain America," He said brightly, handing back the shield.
