Episode 12

Chris: "We're at one of the Trials"

Snoe: "Trials?"

Chris: "But this doesn't make any sense. Why would he put us in a trial with someone who just joined?"

Snoe: "What are the Trials?"

Chris: "It's a very hard test my dad likes to put people through. Everytime he does this, it's with the intent of forming a team of people that will become an elite squad when they work together. The squad working together is the only way anybody has ever been able to pass this test. By the way, it's either everyone passes, or no one passes"

Snoe: "How do you know that's what we're here for?"

Chris: "Look around you. The walls are uncolored with nothing on them, there's no furniture, hell, the light right above us is the only one here. The only door is the one we came in through. In order to pass, we have to find out what he wants us to do and get it done. Once we finish, he will find out some way or another and send someone to come pick us up. Right now, our main concern is finding clues before it gets dark"

Snoe: "I saw smoke outside"

Chris: "That will be the first place we go"

Chris gathers everyone and they all start walking toward the smoke.

Aimee: "I didn't notice this before, but there is at least one of each Role here. What I don't understand is why you were put on a Trial, since you're new"

Snoe: "I don't know. I'm sorry if I'm a burden to you right now"

Aimee: "No! I didn't mean it like that!"

Snoe: "Calm down. I'm just saying that I can't really be much help, and I'm sorry for that"

Aimee: "Don't be sorry, you didn't choose to be here"

Chris: "The smoke is coming from a factory. We'll reach it in about two hours if we keep at this pace, but eventually you'll get tired, Snoe. You don't have the training the rest of us do, so I understand. When you can't keep up anymore, I'll carry you for a little bit, then set you back down"

Snoe: "Okay"

Everyone continues walking for another thirty minutes, then Snoe has to take a break, so Chris carries her for five minutes and she walks for another half hour. The cycle repeats until they get to the factory. The only door they see is locked.

Chris: "Which of you are Collectors?"

One guy steps forward. He's a falcon.

Chris: "What's your name?"

Falcon: "I go by Oli"

Chris: "Oli, go as fast as you can around the whole building and check for any possible entryways, then come back and report to me"

Oli: "Yes sir"

Oli begins running.

Chris: "Tech person, see if you can find a way to hack the door. It's electronically locked and the door provides you a keypad"

Arthur: "I'm on it"

Arthur begins working on opening the door.

Chris: "Everyone else, just wait until further notice"

Eventually, Oli comes back, and he looks panicked.

Chris: "Oli, what is it?"

Oli: "I looked in through a window. This factory makes the materials required for crafting nukes"

Everyone begins to worry.

Chris: "Did you find a way in?"

Oli: "Yes, the window was slightly open and I believe it can be opened enough for everyone to get inside"

Chris: "Then let's go. Arthur, abandon the door; we will enter through the window"

Arthur: "Yes sir"

Everyone follows Oli to the window. Chris opens it and everybody climbs inside. A big hole in the floor, in the middle of the factory, opens and a large nuclear missile is raised from it. Everyone stares at it.

Connor: "Is our organization making nukes?"

Snoe: "This is bad. Really bad. What would happen if he gets a chance to use it?"

Chris: "I think he plans to use it, and soon. My dad has always liked to mess with people and see how they react. It wouldn't surprise me if he decided to make nukes and send us here to stop him from nuking the world just to see how well we would do against him. He has always been messed up in the head, but this would be to a new level"

Snoe: "Even if he plans to keep them as a last resort, do you still believe it's okay he's making nukes? Don't any of you know how bad this is? Don't any of you want to be on the good side of things for once?"

Kangaroo: "...I do"

Oli: "..I do too"

Everyone starts to join along.

Chris: "..New mission: Stop the nukes!"

Everyone hears a laugh coming from the dark side of the room. The person walks into the light and reveals to everyone who he is. He's a tall bat with red eyes.

Chris: "Father.."

Chris's dad: "I'd rather you call me William, seeing as I disown you as my child from this point forward, hell, you were never mine to begin with. I stole you from someone at birth. You never were on my side, were you? All these years and you have only been training to end me. I've caught on. It's too late to stop the nukes, by the way. They're already set to launch from different sites around the world. You can't stop it now, but I would love to see you try"

Chris: "I'm sure you would, but instead of satisfying you, I will just kill you before you get to see the world end"

William: "What?"

Chris runs at William and they begin to fight.

Snoe: "Arthur, go try to stop the nukes from launching! You're the only one who can do this!"

Arthur runs to the main office area and tries to hack the computer.

William: "Chris, you always were a sucky fighter"

William dodges a punch and quickly jabs Chris's side with a knife. Chris continues fighting like nothing happened and lands a hit on William's head, causing him to fall over. Chris quickly pulls the knife out of his side and stabs William five times in the neck before he has a chance to react. William doesn't die instantly. As he's coughing up blood, he unbuttons his shirt and turns a knob attached to the middle of his chest. A bright light similar to a flashbang comes out of William's chest and when everyone can see again, both William and Chris are gone.

Snoe: "I don't know what the fuck just happened, but we still have to stop the nukes! Everyone that isn't Arthur, look for a nuclear bunker just in case everything fails!"

Everyone runs around the factory, trying to find a secret hatch or something that could lead to a nuclear bunker.

Arthur: "It's not working! The timer is at nine seconds, what do I do!?"

Snoe: "I don't know! Just keep trying!"

Snoe runs to where William and Chris were fighting and looks around the floor for pressure tiles or anything to reveal a bunker and get everyone to safety. The roof opens and the missile launches into the sky. Everyone continues to search for several more minutes before a bright light fills the sky. They all look out the windows and see a large mushroom cloud far away. They can all see the shockwave quickly coming their way and they know there is nothing they can do now.

Connor: "I guess.. this is the end"

When the shockwave hits, the entire building is destroyed. Eight nukes were set off equally apart from each other spread evenly throughout the world. Earth has now entered the apocalypse.
