Gabe "  what's going on here ?"

they all started complaining to him at once he just held his hand up for them to stop .

Gabe " I know "

Cleo "  what ? how could you let him do that to MC ?".

Gabe " he's not doing anything okay,  look we figured we would trace Meridith and the others . He tracked all of their phones but he couldn't find Riley's.  even after he called her he couldn't find her phone .she's interested in him if she has anything to do with this , this is the only way he would be able to find out "

Hannah "  So you're not interested in Riley ? you're just doing this to find MC?"

Jake " of course I'm not ,i love mc  you should all know that by now "

Thomas " we're sorry it's just hearing you speak to someone that is not mc  like that it kind of caught us off guard"

Lilly "  I'm sorry big brother ".

Jake "  it's okay I just want her back and I don't care what I have to do , if I have to pretend to be in love with Riley I will . As long as it gets me closer to mc "

It was 12:00 noon and we still haven't gotten a call from them. We were all sitting in the kitchen .Nobody was eating. I wasn't even hungry. Meredith and the others , their phone hasn't moved . The police  questioned Meredith but she said she had nothing to do with that , neither did the others and Riley still hasn't turned up to work.  She keeps calling me and texting me. The afternoon went into the night and they still didn't call back.

One week later .

It's been 1 week since she's been gone. I felt lost . I couldn't do anything , I couldn't eat , I couldn't sleep. I just kept staring at my laptop .everyone is going through the same thing . One Saturday Riley called me again and she said she was in town and she wanted to see a movie so I said okay , I told them where I was going and I met Riley in town. I had no idea what the hell she wanted to watch. When she saw me she started smiling. She had already bought tickets and popcorn. I really wasn't interested in anything . I just did it because it would get her off my back for a while. I didn't even look at the movie halfway through the movie, She was on her phone texting someone. 20 minutes later my phone started vibrating in my pocket .phill was calling so I took it out and I answered it.

Jake " yes Phil "

Phil " they called we're dropping the money right now  "

I didn't think after that ,I stood up and I walked out. I left Riley right there while walking to the car I heard someone running behind me .

Riley " Jake where are you going ?the movie isn't over "

Jake "  I have somewhere I need to be,my sister had an accident "

Riley "  oh okay , you're not lying to me are you ?"

Jake " Why would I lie to you ?"

Riley " I don't know , you're not going back  to her are you ?"

I stopped in my tracks ,I turned to look at her .

Jake " what do you mean? Going back  to who?"

Riley "  MC "

She knew , she had to know .

Jake " what did you do ?'

she threw her hands up in the air in defense

Riley " I haven't done anything to her "

And she just turned and walked away. I got in the car and drove home. When I got there I looked them dead in the face.
