I woke up sweaty and out of breath, what was going on ? Was  being pregnant had me this way ?when I checked the time it was 6:00 p.m. what the hell? I slept all day .Jake would probably be back by now so I got out of bed and grabbed a quick shower. I  headed downstairs , I found them all sitting outside on the patio.

MC " hey guys where's Jake ?".

Rachel " he's not back yet "

MC"  that's weird ,he's supposed to be back by 4:00 or 5:00 ".

Hannah " he's not back yet , he's probably busy with work ".

MC "  did he at least call "

Lilly " he didn't call me "

I checked my phone. There were no messages ,no missed calls from him that was not like him .So I dialed his number and he didn't answer.

MC "what did he take with him this morning ?"

Phil " nothing "

MC " he didn't take his backpacks?".

Cleo "  no he didn't "

MC " something is wrong , he wouldn't just not call me all day or text me ,he  knows I wasn't feeling well ".

Hannah " he's probably busy MC ".

just then my phone started ringing.

Dan "  see he's calling ".

but when I looked at the number ,it wasn't Jake's number .

MC"   this isn't Jake ".

Mc " hello "

Director "  is Jake home yet ?".

MC "  no , Jake is still working ?".

Director "  no he's not , I told him to wait there , the agents would be there to pick up the car but he wasn't there when they showed up ".

MC " what do you mean he wasn't there ?"

I put the phone on speaker

Director "  someone called in a tip saying Riley was in the area where he lived with a car , but when he got there,  there was no one there just the car .I told him I'll send to agents to retrieve the car , that he should wait there. he said he was going to be at home  ,so i gave the agents his  address but when they got there he wasn't home. when they spoke to the neighbors someone by the name of Jeffrey Sanders said that Jake was there earlier that morning and he went home ".

my heart started beating out of time this can't be happening.

MC "  then where is he?".

Director "  he's probably on route home,  his phone probably died I'll get back to you as soon as I find out ".

After I ended the call just looked at them ,  he never allows his phone to die . I kept calling him but he wouldn't answer , I started panicking and they saw it too.

Gabe "  Phil you Dan and Richy take the jet and go over there to search his house".

MC "  I'm coming too".

Cleo "  no you're not "

MC "   I have to find him ".

Rachel "  Cleo is right you're 8 months pregnant , you're not supposed to be traveling . you haven't been feeling well  ,Jake is okay he'll be home soon".

Phil " we'll  find him mc don't worry , the car probably broke down,  he's probably stuck somewhere ".

after they left I just sat there where is he why didn't he call me.
