There was only one option: I was going to Duskwood. I knew it could be dangerous but I weighed the pros and cons. No one knows me ,none of the others has ever seen me . Only phil so there wasn't much of anyone recognizing me . But if I went and just started asking questions then people would get suspicious . Especially Alan and he's the last person I wanted to find out because he knows a wanted hacker was amongst us so that was a big no no . As I sat in my car I decided I would go to Duskwood as Cleo said Mrs Sully always  sits at the Rainbow Caffe and people watch as she put it ,  and if I stayed at the motel I would probably learn something .

I started my car and drove. It would take me almost three hours to get there so I started my long drive . I kept formulating a plan of what I would do and where I would go first.I couldn't let Jake or the others know I was going there. I had asked them to leave the danger and now I was heading into it.

Why did she have to go and see him? I wasn't a jealous person by nature but something about him being in the same space as her bothered the hell out of me . I had this feeling like something was wrong .she told me she was in love with me , the truth was i fell for her too, the minute she started making me second guess myself i knew it was happening but we couldn't have a relationship i wanted it more than I've ever wanted anything in my life even my freedom didn't mean as much as she did . But it was dangerous. She already saw that when my pursuers turned their attention to her . She understood me ,she knows I'm not good at expressing my emotions and still she fell in love with me . I sat Infront of my laptop just staring. I didn't know what else to do. Amy and Hannah were responsible for Jennifer's Death ,Amy is already dead and he has Hannah . So why is he after the others, especially MC ? That was what we needed to find out.she said Michael Hanson would probably be up in age and has help , maybe she's right .

When i entered Duskwood i saw the lake it looked so beautiful and peaceful  if you were a stranger looking in that's what's you would see but i knew not everything was as it seem with some luck i found the motel and got a room it was almost nine in the evening i had stopped on the way and got a pizza i sat on the bed eating it i opened my laptop, for some reason i wanted no i needed to hear my father's voice so i called him.

Meredith " Hello mc "

God not her

Mc " Hello Meridith how are you "?

Meridith " I'm fine , what's wrong ran out of money "

I had a few choice words on the tip of my tongue for her and if i  told her my father would never believe her because I've been nothing but cordial to her. I learnt at a very young age to never tell her the reason I wanted to speak to my father.

Mc " unfortunately No money is not my problem , Actually I'm calling because i have a message for him from Officer kim "

Meridith " oh very well I'll take the phone to him "

After a while i heard her talking to him

Dad " Hello sweetheart everything okay , did everything work out with officer kim "?

Mc " yea thanks again Dad ,i just called because well i was missing you"

Dad " I miss you too sweetheart ,when will you be back home "?

Mc " I'll be back soon "

Dad " okay we haven't been to the beach house in a while. What do you say you and I get away for a small vacation "?

Mc " Sounds like a plan "

iI heard her talking in the background so I told him I loved him and would see him soo and ended the call. I texted Jake.

Mc " Are you busy "?

Jake " not at the moment is everything okay "?

Mc " yes i was  just sitting here thinking about everything , i just wish "

Jake " wish what "?

Mc " That i could hear your voice "

Jake " mc "

Mc " i know it's not possible "

Jake "....... "

Mc " Jake "

My phone started ringing. It wasn't a number I knew so I answered it.

Mc " Umm hello "?

Jake " I'm sorry , for my reaction earlier i just didn't know how to feel when you said you were in love with me "

Mc " Jake "

Jake " yes "

Oh my god to know that he would do this for me ,made me so happy

Mc " thank you ,Do you have any idea how much this means to me "

Jake " i believe i do ,i love you mc i honestly do how it happened i don't know but i can't put you in harms way"

Mc " i love you too jake ,and  you're not putting me in harm's way "

Jake " i won't be able to live with myself if something ever happened to you "

Mc " it's okay jake trust me "

He started laughing

Mc " are you laughing right now "?

Jake "  yes i am ,you're the only person that can make me laugh. Besides that's my line "

Mc " i know , I'll let you get back to doing what you're doing "

Mc " yes jake "

Jake " can we talk for a little more "

Mc " of course what would you like to talk about "?

Jake " about you I'm curious , tell me about yourself "

Mc " not much to tell , I'm an only child, my mom passed away when i was 14 ,i live at home with my dad and his wife who i don't really get along with "

Jake " why not "?

Mc " well they started dating a few years after my mom passed , and well she thinks she's in a competition with me for my father's love and money "

Jake " money makes people do strange things "

Mc " well i have my own so it doesn't bother me what she does or say i stay neutral for my dad's sake "

Jake " i see , my mother passed when i was 19 , before she did she told me about my father that's why i contacted Hannah "

Mc " i figured that much "

Jake " i need to get going I'll talk to you

After i ended the call i just laid There he called me he actually called me  . Mind was working overtime. I don't know when I fell asleep but I woke up to someone knocking. I immediately sat up in bed it was coming from the balcony door i grabbed my phone and and pocket knife and stuffed it in my pocket pulled the curtain aside but it was too dark i saw someone standing at the edge of the forest when i flicked on the lights i felt all the blood leave my face it was clear enough it was Hannah i pulled my sneakers on and opened the sliding door she was just standing there i looked around to see if anyone was around i started running towards her ,there was tape on her mouth and her hands and feet were tied the closer i got to her i could see she was shaking her head saying no before i could grab her something hit me at the back of my head i started seeing blurry i stood up and grabbed onto Hannah i pulled the pocket knife out and cut the rope on her feet i couldn't see properly

Mc " Hannah run don't stop running not police ,go Lilly or jessy "

I saw a shadow try to grab her i pushed her away

Mc " run Hannah run tell jake Mc Mc "

I saw her running he tried to go after her i grabbed onto his foot i saw her already turn around the motel she was safe i found her i felt another stroke of pain at the back of my head then everything went black .
