Scarlett looked around and sighed in relief.

She was sitting on a train heading to Agra, India to stop an interchange of the Magna Carta. She was now a few seats away from Paper Star, a VILE operative. The latter was blissfully unaware of the pair of eyes watching her some distance away.

'So, when do you plan on striking her?' Peter asked, over the intercom.

'You mean strike her here? Now? In a car with a wild card like her, no, someone would get hurt. I will strike her when we reach the station. I just have to be out of her sight while keeping her in mine.' Scarlett said.

She got up and went to another car as soon as the multi-colored freak show left the car.

They were now in the dining carriage and Scarlett saw an empty seat.

'Mind if I use this?' Scarlett asked the blue-eyed ravenette.

'Sure, but feel free to use it, until my partner returns.' the petite woman said.

Scarlett's POV

I looked at the petite woman sitting across from me. I couldn't quite find out why I was feeling soft and fluffy just at the sight of her.

'Partner?' I asked, a little disheartened and more shocked to learn that she had a partner.

She cleared her throat and said, 'Travel partner.'

I sent a side long glance at the brief-case beside me and realized that it was Connor fucking Anderson.

A.K.A the man I just cuffed in self-defense in another carriage a few minutes ago.

'I see' I said, putting my compact back after seeing that Paper Star was there having a snack.

'And you are?'

'Marinette.' She said, smiling.

God, that smile. That lovely smile really brightened my day.

'So, Mari, off to see the Taj Mahal?' I asked.

She was a little flustered and looked away.

'Oh, I'd wish but I-I'm on a business trip.' Marinette said.

'Oh, so I guess you have heard of the robbery?'

'Yes. It's really sad that people...'

She trailed off and looked at me, 'Where have you heard it from?'

'The news.' I said, lying straight out of my mouth.

'Oh.' she said, flustered.

I looked at the spoon and saw Paper Star leaving.

'Great talking with you, Mari' I said, getting up.

I left.

Marinette's POV

'But wait! I haven't got your name-!' I said, but she left the carriage.

The woman, she looked...familiar.

Where have I seen her?

I looked back at the tablet in my hand and saw that she was Scarlett Sandiego.

I looked back at the door in disbelief.

I couldn't even believe I let her out of my grasp.

Hopefully, Connor or Markus gets her.

[After the caper because I'm lazy af)

I decided to follow her tracks and I looked to my side...

'How did you-?!' I gasped. Connor was there, cuffed.

'Never mind that!' he rasped out, 'The key is in my briefcase.'

I ran back to where his briefcase was and there was the Magna Carta. But there was something unusual.

A note saying:

The name is Scarlett, Scarlett Sandiego. You look like a trustworthy person. So, I left the Magna Carta with you.

Yours,

Scarlett.

P.S.- Look behind the container.

I looked behind the container and saw a bouquet of red roses. I blushed and took it.

'Thank you Scarlett Sandiego.' I murmured.

Scarlett's POV

I got off the train and felt triumphant. But there was also something I felt.

I felt soft and fluffy every time I think of Marinette. And when I looked at her, I felt butterflies in my stomach.

What have you done to me, Marinette?
