Skip forward to 9 months later

Marinette kissed Phoebe on the forehead and called out to Scarlett.

'Scar?' She shouted.

'Yeah?'

'Take care of Phoebe while I am in the garden?'

'Ok.'

Scarlett ran into the nursery and Marinette gave 6-month-old Phoebe to Scarlett but Phoebe started to cry as soon Scarlett held her and Marinette went to their garden.

'Calm down, mum's going to come back real quick.' Scarlett cooed. But it did little to make the baby convinced that her mother would return.

'Calm down, Phoebe. I'm here, Mum's here.' Scarlett said.

Still no progress.

'We'll put you to sleep.' Scarlett sighed defeated.

Marinette washed her hands and went into the nursery, wiping her hands.

Scarlett had fallen asleep on the railing of the crib, while Phoebe was sleeping inside the crib, tucked in with a small stuffie.

Marinette giggled and her heart warmed at the sight. She took out her phone and clicked a picture, laughing.

Scarlett opened her eyes and said, 'Put that in our Photo album, Mari.'

'You print it.' Marinette said and gave chase.

Maybe the birth actually left her unable to walk for 2 weeks, but Marinette really could run and walk around after the 2 weeks.

Let me explain.

Marinette had a complicated and very harsh pregnancy. Those 9 months were torturous for her. But the labor and birth were even worse, leading her to strict bed-rest for 2 weeks. But in the end, it was worth it. She had Phoebe.

But maybe Phoebe didn't like Scarlett that much, because every time Scarlett held Phoebe, the baby would cry and scream and would only calm down when Marinette would be present in the room or held her.

And for Scarlett, it was frustrating.

Anyways, we have to get on.

Scarlett caught up with Marinette and spun her around.

'Scar, put me down!' Marinette cried, laughing

'No.' Scarlett said.

And then they touched their noses.

'I am happy.' Scarlett said.

'Why?' Marinette asked.

'I have you and Phoebe. I love you both.' Scarlett smiled.

Marinette giggled.

'I love you too, Scar.'

A/N:

And this is the end. I was really attached to this book. But this is a short story of my favorite ship in Characterxoc, Marinette x Scarlett.

Bye Lovelies, see you in the next book.

Until then...

Goodbye,

Lucy.

P.S.: Read my first book 'A Greater Power', Formerly known as 'Justice Identity Freedom'. It is the first crossover of Miraculous and Carmen Sandiego in a Detroit: Become Human AU, with some of the original characters. It's a rewrite of the game itself...just with different characters.

Do you want me to write about what happened during those 9 months?

Please write.
