*June's P.O.V.*
I walked to the address Dana gave me. It wasn't far from where I lived. It was close. I looked at the house that the address brought me to. I gulped and walked up to the steps. I knocked on the door and waited. Dana answered."Hey. Come in." He said opening the door.
"Thanks. Where should we begin working?" I asked him.
"In my room?" He asked.
"Sure." I said following him up to his room. He opened the door and let me in. He closed the door behind me. His room was normal. I've never been to a boys room before, and it's not that bad.
"Where are your parents?" I asked him.
"Oh, they had a meeting to go to. But they will be back." He said getting out his stuff. I nodded. I got my stuff out as well. I showed him some problems and helped him solve them. He was good at it. We were in half way with the session when we heard someone call Dana from downstairs.
"Come. You should meet them." He said. I followed him downstairs.
"Hey mom. Hey dad. I have a friend over to help me ketch up in math." He said. I turned the corner and reveled myself.
"Hi sweetie. I'm Mrs. Vaughns, but you can call me Joni." Mrs. Vaughns said smiling and shaking my hand. I smiled.
"I'm Mr. Vaughns but you can call me, Big Dana." Mr. Vaughns said shaking my hand.
"Jackpot son." He whispered to Dana. Dana gave him a glare.
"I'm June, June Valentine." I said to them. They seemed shock at something.
"Is something wrong?" Dana asked.
"No honey. It was nice to meet you. It's getting late, maybe you should walk her out Dana." Mrs. Vaughns said. Are they really kicking me out? Am I that bad?
"But she still needs to finish helping me." Dana said.
"We know but it's getting late, maybe you guys can finish tomorrow." Mr. Vaughns said.
"But-"
"Dana I think there right. I should get going now." I said giving them a small smile and walked upstairs for my stuff. Dana followed.
"You don't have to." Dana begged.
"It's fine, we can pick this up tomorrow." I said putting my backpack on my shoulder.
"Okay, I guess." He said walking me out.
"Okay, so remember to practice those formulas and I'll see you tomorrow." I said walking down the stairs of the porch.
"Okay, see you tomorrow." He said waving. I waved back and started walking to my house.
*Dana's P.O.V.*
"What was that about?" I asked my parents.
"You can't be around her." My mom said.
"What?! Why?!" I asked.
"Because, her family and our family don't get along." My dad said.
"Well, that's not gonna happen because she has to help me with my math, and I'm partners with her for an English project." I responded. They both looked at the ground shaking there heads. I just turned and ran up to my room.

I woke up and got ready for school. I was still upset from what happened yesterday with my parents. A family feud isn't going to keep me from being friends with June. I think she's cool and smart. And a good influence. Ugh! Why!
At school, I went to my math class. I found June there. I went up to her.
"Hey." I said.
"Oh hey." She said with a small smile on her face.
"Look, I want to apologized about what happened with my parents yesterday. They told me something that our families are in this feud and that we have been for centuries. They also told me to stay away from you but we have stuff to do together. So yeah. The family feud isn't going to stop me from doing my work." I said to her. She looked at me then her notebook.
"Okay. Then how are we going to work on it?" She asked.
"I got an idea." I said smirking. The bell rang and I went back to my seat.
*June's P.O.V.*
It was the end of the school day and I walked home as fast as I could. I arrived at my house and asked my dad about the family feud that Dana told me about. He told me that the name 'Vaughns' comes from way back, and that it will never change. He also said that I must stay away from people that have that name, and if I don't, I'm going to get it bad, and not from him. I was a little confused, but I just went with it. I went up to my room and texted Dana.Me: So, what's your idea exactly?
New kid: I'm going to your house.
Me: But you can't. My parents will kill me if they knew I invited a Vaughns in the house.
New kid: Look out your window.I looked out my window and saw Dana standing behind a tree.
New kid: I'm coming up.
Me: Be careful. With that, he started climbing my porch. He is CRAZY!
"Your crazy you know that?" I said as he followed me in my room. I shut my balcony doors.
"Well, I'm here now. Let's get started before it gets late." He said getting his stuff out.
"Okay-" I was cut off by my dad calling me. "Be quiet, don't touch anything, I'll be right back." I told him, he nodded. I headed out the door and went to my dad.
"You called?" I said to my dad.
"Yeah, me and your mother have to go to the building and we will be back around midnight." He said.
"Okay, I'll see you guys tomorow, I guess." I said hugging them. "Bye, and love you." I said to both of them. With that they left. I let out a big sigh and locked the door. I ran back to Dana who was looking at my pictures on my wall. I cleared my throat which made him turn around and go back to working.
"Okay, we got to do this fast." He said rushing. I nodded. I showed him the other half of the session.
"You know, your good at memorizing things." I said smiling to him.
"Thanks." He said gloating. I laughed a bit. And smiled.
"Hey, what time did you have to leave?" I asked.
"Like 10 minutes ago." He said calmly.
"Well then, you got to go." I said. He gathered his stuff and followed me downstairs.
"Thanks for letting me sneak up." He said smiling.
"No problem." I said. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!" I said.
"Okay, bye." He said before he ran off disappearing.
