*June's P.O.V.*

I arrived at school. I went to first period, finding everyone but Dana.

"Look what the cat dragged in." I heard.

"It that all you can think of? Its getting old you know." I said facing them. Brittney came up to me.

"Oh, we have a lot of other words to describe someone like you." She said pointing a finger to my chest.

"Other words, oh please. Its not like you have a good vocabulary. You just keep using the same sentence, day after day." I said to her.

"Look here you little brat."

"Wow Brittany. Im not sure that im the brat in this conversation."

"You think your all tough huh? But keep this in mind," she got close to my ear, "you are nothing to everyone. Even, Dana. You do know he just needs the grades, he doesnt like you in anyway. Watch, when all of these projects and homework end, he wont give a turd for you, fatty." She pulled away with a smirk. The bell rang and she walked back to her desk. I turned around and saw Dana come in to the room.

"Hey June." He said while he past by my desk. I didnt answer. I knew what Brittany said is true. It just hurts.

Through the whole period, Dana kept texting me. It went up to the point where Mr. G almost took away my phone, but I said that it was my mother making sure that I was at school. He believed it. I silenced my phone and took it off vibrate. Now, Dana was trying to get my attention by throwing paper at me. I kept giving him glares, but he wouldnt stop. The bell rang. I packed up as fast as I could before Dana interacts with me. I was about to leave when he stopped me from heading out the door.

"Hey June." He said. I didnt answer. "Well, at leased check your messages." He suggested. I looked at my phone and saw the 30 messages he left. I read them and quietly chuckled at some that were funny. He smiled onced he noticed me. I put my phone away and looked at him.

"So are we good?" I nodded. He smiled. We both heading to our second period class. The rest of the day, I kind of ignored Dana. Its just, what Brittany said, still hasnt left my mind. But I usaually dont let it get to me. But this time it did, and I dont know why.

It was the end of the day. I said bye to Alexa and started walking home. I walked through the wind, hearing it call my name. Wait, thats not the wind. I turned and saw Dana running towards me.

"June!" He called. I stopped in my tracks, waiting for him to catch up.

"You called?" I said.

"Yep. Are we going to work on our project?"

"Yeah, I guess. My house?"

"But what about your parents?"

"Oh, right. How about we meet at a public place, like starbucks?"

"Ok. Ill text you." I nodded. Even though what Brittany said might be true, we still have to do work. I aint getting a bad grade.

I got ready to meet Dana at starbucks when I got a text from Alexa.
