*June's P.O.V.*
DAY 2
I woke up to the sound of my door bell ringing. I rushed to the bathroom and splashed water on my face. I then fixed my hair and ran downstairs to open the door.
"Good morning!" The boys said in unison. I let them in.
"Good morning." I replied.
"We brought breakfast." Dana said, giving me my breakfast. I thanked him and we all sat on the couch.
"So, what is our plan for today?" I asked.
"Well, today is a hair and beauty day. So, you will get a hair cut, then visit, the spa." Dana explained.
"But since we dont really know anything on how girls do those things, we got you a buddy." Cole said.
"And who is this buddy?" I asked curious, then the doorbell rang.
"Right on cue." Gabe said. I got up and opened the door. Standing in front of me, was my best friend, Alexa.
"Alexa, what are you doing here?" I asked, she came in.
"According to Cole, im your new hair and spa buddy." She said with excitment.
"Yaaassss! I cant wait! Wait hold up, you know Cole?" I asked.
"Yep, we were best friends in elementry school. Im the one that got him obsessed with the bow ties." Alexa said.
"Oh okay." I said. We finished eating and I got ready for the day.
"Okay, so we will meet you here, when you guys are done with everything." Dana said.
"Okay." I said. We all said our byes and left to our seperate ways.
Alexa and I both went to our first destination, the hair saloon. We got there and we got attended right away. The lady washed my hair. She then cut my hair into layers. After that, she curled my hair. We payed her and thanked her for the great haircut.
Next, we were off to the Spa! We had to wait a little but then we got attended. We changed into white soft ropes and sat on the massage.chair where we got a pedicure. While the workers were working, Alexa and I started to talk.
"So, hows life? I havent seen you in a while." I asked Alexa.
"Good, i guess. How about yours?" She asked.
"Well, i guess, you can say good." I answered.
"So whats with this change thing? I mean you used to never care what people said about you. What happened?"
"I honestly dont know. Its just it seems like ever since Dana came, I feel like everything matters. I dont know. Its hard to explain."
"Do you like Dana?"
"Well, of course, as a friend."
"Are you sure you dont, like like him?"
"Yes, im sure. Why you askin all them questions?"
"Well, its come to my attention that you feel like making your expectations higher to reach him since his up there, you know? And thats why you want to change."
"Of course its not that. I just want to feel and know how it is being one of them. Thats all. Anyways enough about me, whats up with you and Cole?" I asked Alexa giving her a smirk.
"Nothing. We are just really good friends, nothing else." She said seriously.
"Well, do you like him?" I asked.
"Of course I do." She said pouting and sinking into her seat. "The truth is, ive liked him since elementry school. But in 5th grade, he moved away. I never thought that i would see him again, until....
FLASHBACK
*Alexa's P.O.V.*
I was in my room, on social media, relaxing because i just came back from the Dentist.
"Alexa! Someone is here to see you!" I heard my mom yell. I got up from my spot and headed downstairs. When i got to the door,i saw Dana with someone that looked familiar.
"Hey Dana. What brings you here?" I asked Dana.
"Well, we have a favor to ask you." He said.
"Okay, what is it?" I said heading out on the porch, shutting the door behind me.
"Well, on Sunday, we were wondering if in the morning, you can meet us at June's house."
"And why is that?" I asked. He explained to me that June wanted to change, and what there plan was.
"And my friends, Gabe, and Cole here are going to help." He explained. I looked at Cole, who was staring at me. But, i might have been staring at him too. He looks so familiar. I couldnt take it anymore.
"Do I know you? You look really familiar." I asked Cole.
"I dont know. You also look familiar." He responded.
"My name is Alexa, Alexa Collins." I said sticking out my hand.
"That name seems really familiar. Im Cole, Cole Pendery." He said shaking my hand. Then i got it.
"Wait, Pendery? As in bow tie Pendery?"
"Wait, the only person who called me that was my best friend. Alexa! Thats you! Oh my gosh!" He said taking me into a hug. "I remember now! I missed you so much!" He said while hugging me. He pulled away.
"Ive missed you too! Wow! I cant believe its you!" I said while i gave him another hug. He hugged back.
"So, im guessing you two know eachother?" Dana said. We pulled away.
"Yea we were best friends back in the day." I said to Dana.
"Oh, so will you do us the favor?" Dana asked.
"Yea, can you be June's hair and spa buddy?" Cole asked.
"Sure, why not." I said. They both got excited. And thanked me.
END OF FLASHBACK
*June's P.O.V.*
"and that is how i found out about this too." Alexa said. I nodded. The workers finished our nails, and suprisingly, finished our manicure too. When we were finally finished, Alexa and I left to my house. We went inside and i texted Dana.
TEXT CONVO
Me: We are at my house already.
Dana: Okay! The boys and I will be there shortly.
Me: Okay. And while your out, bring pizza. Thanks!
Dana: Okay, I will. :D
I smiled to myself and talked with Alexa.
After half an hour, the door bell rang, and i let the boys in. They brought pizza AND a movie.
"So how was the spa?" Gabe asked.
"A-" i started.
"ma-" Alexa said.
"zing!!!" Alexa and I said in unison. The boys laughed.
"Good. Now we should watch this movie so, we can rest for tomorrow." Cole said inserting the movie in the DVD player.
I sat in between Dana and Gabe on the couch, and Alexa and Cole sat on the floor. We watched the movie.
During the movie, i felt a little tired and leaned my head on Danas shoulder. As the movie went on, i turned my attention to my hand. It was really close to Dana's. Then all of a sudden, Dana started moving his hand toward mine. I watched in silence as his hand interwined with mine. I smiled to myself, like an idiot in fact.
After the movie, we all said our byes and they all left. I went upstairs and thought about the events that happend today...especially during the movie.
