*June's P.O.V.*

I woke up to the sun that was shinning through my window. I looked around and noticed, I was on my bed. I looked around in search of Dana. No where to be found. His shoes and jacket were right where I left them. I got up and looked in the bathroom. Still no sign of Dana. I went downstairs and my mouth dropped. The table was set with breakfast and flowers.

"Happy Christmas Eve!" I heard. I turned around and saw Dana with a big smile. I'm surprised that he's acting this way after what happened.

"Happy Christmas Eve to you too?" I said as I was confused.

"Come on let's eat." He said. He sat down as I sat down awkwardly. He smiled and then started eating. I just starred at him. Is this the same Dana as yesterday? He doesn't even look hungover. What if it was all a dream?  What if Dana never got drunk? Nah June, now your making stuff up.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" He asked. I looked at the food.

"Oh I'm not hungry."

"Come on, it's good. Here try." He said grabbing my fork and getting a piece of egg on it.  He got it closer to my mouth but I just kept it shut.

"Come on. Open.." I shook my head. He then surprisingly knew my ticklish spot and tickled me. I couldn't help but laugh. He quickly put the egg in my mouth and DAMN HE KNOWS HOW TO COOK.

"This is good!" I said grabbing my fork and eating wildly. "You made this?"

"Yeah."

"There sooooooooo good!" I said as I stuffed my mouth. He chuckled. I kept on eating and he did too.

"Thank you Dana, it was really good." I said as we both put our dishes in the sink.

"No problem." He said with a smile. There was an awkward silence.

"Look, Dana about yesterday...."

"Yeah about that....I'm really sorry June."

"No, I'm sorry. I shut you out without giving a reason."

"So, there is a reason for shutting me out?" I nodded.

"Yeah, there is."

"Can you please tell me, so I can fix it."

"Dana, it's nothing you can fix." I said leaning against the counter.

"Then what is it June?" I stayed silent, looking away. "June," he said getting closer. He turned my head gently with his finger. "please tell me. It's killing me." He said as I starred at him. I looked down. There was a short silence.

"My dad told me why our family is in a feud with one another." I began. I took a deep breath,"my grandmother, Tori, had a friend that helped her, I guess, start her career. My dad told me his last name was Vaughns, but he didn't tell me his first name. Anyway, one night they were celebrating and had a couple drinks. He drove and they got in a car crash and my grandmother didn't make it. All this time that I've been avoiding you, I have been convincing myself you weren't the same. But then yesterday happened and..." I said as a tear fell down. Dana wiped away the tear and gave me a hug.

"I'm so sorry June. I should've never done that." He pulled away and looked in my eyes. "I promise you, I will never do that again." He said. I looked in his eyes. I wanted to say something but my sorrow didn't let me. I opened my mouth to speak but I closed it as the doorbell rung. We both sighed and he pulled completely away. I went to the door to answer finding Cole standing in the wind. I invited him inside and he stepped in.

"Is Dana here?" He asked. Right then, Dana walked in.

"Hey Cole." He said.

"Guessing that answers your question." I muttered.

"Where did you stay all night?"

"Here." Dana answered. Cole looked at me and I nodded.

"You scared the hell out of me Dana!"

"I know. I'm sorry Cole. I should've never done that."

"I'll leave you guys alone." I said as I started to walk away.

"No, stay. I need to tell you both something." Dana said stopping me in my tracks. I looked at Cole and he looked at me. Both of us looked at Dana waiting for him to continue. "Look, I'm sorry to both of you. I feel really guilty about what I did. That includes the hit you took from me Cole. I'm truly sorry. I swear to never do that again. Will you both forgive me?" We both looked at each other then back at Dana. Cole stepped closer to him.

"Well, you know, Dole can't exist without Dana. I forgive you man." He said as they both bro hugged. They parted and turn to me.

"How about you June? Will you forgive me?" He asked. I didn't know what to answer. Was I ready to forget?

"Dana, I..." I stuttered. "I don't know." I said as I looked down.

"I know. I understand." He said giving me a small smile. I guess he does understand that what I know is affecting my decision to forgive. We all stood there in silence.

"Soooo, anyways, we are having a little Christmas Eve party tonight and I was wondering if you two would come," Cole announced. "and don't worry, this one isn't like a big party with drinking and stuff. It's almost going to be like a family hangout." Silence once again as we both nodded. "So, you guys down?"

"I'll go if June goes." Dana said confidently.

"No, I'm not going."

"Oh come on June, I know you don't want to stay alone, all by yourself on Christmas Eve." I looked down, trying not to make eye contact with him. But he lifted my chin up with his finger. I stared in his eyes. "Please June, if you go, I'll show you that I am different." He said soft and quiet, loud enough for only me to hear. I looked in his eyes and I saw that he meant it.

"Oh fine. I'll go." I finally said. Dana cheered and Cole smiled. Well this will be fun.
