In Another Maze(Minho x Reader x Newt)

Chapter Seven

Minho's Pov

As I glared across the glade, there were many lanterns lit in a circle-like shape around the bonfire pit. On my left shoulder, I held a dozen wooden sticks which would be used to light the fire. As I was deemed one of the strongest leaders in the glade it was only right that I do my best to contribute to the community.

I marched along the path to the firepit but was suddenly stopped as a short figure ran in front of me. I looked down to see the same greenie that arrived earlier today. she seem to be chasing a bug that had glowing eyes? The creature was quick and so was the greenie.

I let whatever she was doing slide so I could get back to my business but as she went away I found Newt coming towards me. He was smiling when he stopped in front of me.
"Hello, Minho. It's nice to see you working so hard." He exclaimed. I chuckled and replied "It's nice to see you, Newt. Is there anything you need help with?" Newt was quiet for a moment then smiled "I just want to be in the presence of one of my favorite people." I smirked and asked, "Alright then can you follow me?"

Newt had immediately shuffled beside me with his crutches and walked beside me as we made our way to the firepit. I then aligned the stick up in a cone-like shape pointing up towards the sky. After I helped Newt sit down on a log then I sat beside him.

It was silent for a bit but then I stared into Newt's eyes. "Newt." I sighed. "Yes, Minho?" He said as I took his hand in mine. "I love you," I said looking into nothingness. "I love you too Minho."

We sat in silence as there seemed to be nothing better in the world and then Y/n comes along in front of our view and smiles.

No One's Pov

"Seems to be that you two are bonding finally," Y/n said as she looked down at her two new lovers.

Newt had shuffled to a more comfortable position then replied "Yes Love, but it's more than just bonding. We took a moment to understand each other. Look into one another's eyes and find that love we feel for each other deeply embedded in our soul and heart. We found love and plan to work together so that the three of us can keep this forever."

In awe, Minho and Y/n had stared at each other for a moment the Newt. "Well, that was quite interesting." Minho scoffed.

The group of lovers giggled as the greenie watched from the forest behind them. She then walked off into the dark looking for the mysterious bug she found earlier that day. She walked barefooted unafraid of anything biting her feet.
