:Ameli's pov

This was one of the days where you could easily die of boredom. So I decided to take a walk in the park to get used to the surroundings. I decided to go with a casual outfit>> an off the shoulder shirt was a light pink colour and a jean shorts.

As I enjoyed the walk to the park, I bumped into a pole without looking at where I was going. I immediately jerked back and rubbed my temples, hoping to recover from the sudden pain. But once I moved back, I bumped into a hard surface again.

Shit what's wrong with me today?

" Fancy seeing you here, Ameli. "

that voice. the voice that could only belong to one person.

Turning around, I smiled at Aidan, " Did you follow me here or are you going to come up with excuses that you weren't? "

" Well, I would be lying if I said I didn't."
" Hmpff, creepy ass. "
"I saw you walking alone in the park and just couldn't resist following you. " Aidan smiled cheekily, creating butterflies in my stomach.

I simply rolled my eyes and started walking. "Hey wait up! " Aidan said while half jogging to my side. We walked silently side by side, none of us knowing what topic to talk about.

" So... " both of us talked at the same time and laughed.

" I haven't see you around. Where you from? " Aidan asked.
" Oh I'm actually from London but I came here to stay with my aunt. I have already been here for 3 months plus." I replied, hoping that he wouldn't ask why I moved here. I didn't want to talk about my dad.
" I see. So would you like a tour of the city with me? " Aidan said while flashing a smile that I couldn't resist disagreeing.
" Sure why not. " I returned the smile, trying not to sound so excited.

This day would probably be the best day of my life. All because of him. Aidan.
