;ameli's pov
Dressed in a comfortable tee shirt and a pajama pants with monkeys printed all around, I sat down on the sofa. Then the doorbell rang. I stood up, walking towards the door, mentally cursing whoever was on the other side of the door.
" Ermm.. oh hi. "
I perked up at the familiar voice and looked up to to find the same pair of blue eyes staring at me.
the same pair of captivating eyes that tugged at my very heartstrings.
" I didn't know you lived here, Ameli. But before that, I would like to say that you have an excellent sense of fashion." Aidan smirked, his eyes teasingly traveling down my body.
My cheeks flushed red as my mind tried to rack up ideas to talk back to Aidan but obviously failed. I slightly poured, not daring to make eye contact with him and said, " Fine this time I let you win but remember I always win." Aidan put up his hands as if to surrender himself as I burst out laughing at how serious he liked. As he passed me the parcel, he whispered," Hey I got your number since your uncle called the office to pass this to you."
I smiled and said, " Well if so, why are you telling me this?" Aidan them shrugged and took a deep breath and said, " Would you let me take you out on a date? I wouldn't accept no for an answer. "
I smiled and with that, I shut the door. " HEY. Ameli open the goddamn door. I need an answer." Aidan screamed, fist profusely pounding on the door.
I slid down against the door and sat down, smiling like an idiot. I was so overwhelmed with my thoughts that the constant banging of doors didn't bother me anymore.
Should I go? Or is it a bad idea? I was in a dilemma although the my heart screamed that yes I should go. After considering, I made my decision.
~~~ Friday Night ~~~
As I got ready for the date, I became even more nervous. What if Aidan didn't turn up? What if Aidan thought that I really turned him down? What if...
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I quickly checked and straighten out my attire. For the date, I decided to go for casual wear- a long sleeved white dress with the back end of the dress longer than the front. I added a heart-shaped necklace to complete the look and also a brown leather ankle boots.
With that, I took a deep breath as I ran down the stairs and open the door.
"Ameli." The voice bringing a smile to my face.
