Well, I don't know but maybe I'm just too irresistible.

I smiled at the text, fumbling with my phone as I couldn't contain my excitement that I was going to meet Aidan. It had been a while since I saw Aidan and also since that incident with Zac, so I was actually undeniably happy that I was going on a date with Aidan.

Looking at the time, I realised it was already 4.15pm. Holy shit, I only got 45 mins left. I might not even have enough time godd. I scrambled up the stairs to my bedroom and slammed open my wardrobe door. Thank god I already taken shower about half an hour ago so there might be more time for me to think what to wear.

Shorts? Dress? Jeans? Or rompers? I couldn't think. This is probably the worst time to have a wardrobe malfunction. Oh god.

After a dilemma, I decided on a grey sweater with a smiley face on the front with shorts. It was the only outfit that I thought was not too overdressed for the date. I wouldn't want to look so excited huh.

I looked at the time again and it was already 4.57pm. I took a quick look of myself in the mirror and stepped into a navy blue vans before scurrying down the stairs. Just at that time, my phone beeped, indicating a new message.

come outside :))

I clapped my hands excitedly and squealed in delight. I seriously don't know what Aidan had done to me but here I am being delighted over a guy. I smiled as I opened the door to go outside. Ensuring the door was locked, I made my way to Aidan.

Leaning against the car door, Aidan looked effortlessly handsome. His hands were in his pockets with some strands of hair covering his dreamy blue eyes. He had on a white tee shirt with black skinny jeans and a pair of doc martens. When he noticed me, he looked up, running through his hair in the process. And he gave his signature charming smile in my direction, releasing the caged butterflies in my stomach.

I smiled at him and said," Hey." What kind of greeting is that? Seriously Ameli get a grip.

"Hey you look pretty." Aidan complimented.

"You look not too bad yourself, blondie." I said, trying to sound cool although my heart was screaming on how hot he looked.

Aidan then opened the door for me to go in and I mumbled a soft thank you before going in. He then ran to the other side of the car to go into the driver seat. Soon, he started driving.

"Where are we going?" I said, the suspense killing me.

"Somewhere."

"Aidan, seriously."

"It's a surprise, I told you. But I will take you for some shopping afterwards okay?"

I nodded, not really satisfied with his answer.

Well simply I'm not the type of person who like to kept in suspense just to let you know.

Once we reached the place, it was already 5.30pm. I looked around, hoping to see some people but no one was here except us.

"Are you kidnapping me or what?" I said frantically, the memories of my past coming back inside my head.

"Of course not, Ameli. You okay?" Aidan said, noticing the panic rising in me.

"Yeah sorry I just overreacted." I said, earning a soft 'no' from him.

Aidan then went forward and stretched his hands out. I gladly accepted and held his hands.

Oh boy

He firmly held my hands while leading me to the 'place'. My heart was racing because of how our hands fits perfectly and I couldn't help but do a happy dance mentally. Finally, we stopped and I focused on the view in front of me. There was a small wooden old bridge to go to a forest and you can see the entire evening sky. The air was fresh and if you listen closely, you can hear the soft chirping of birds returning home. Aidan had brought me this place and I had no idea why. It looked like a pier.

I watched her from the side. She was taking in the sight in front of her slowly, scrutinizing every single thing carefully. She looked breathtaking in every outfit and she was only wearing a sweater and shorts yet she looked so casual and beautiful at the same time. There was something about her that caught my attention and made me want to know her so badly. I didn't know what or how or urgh I seriously don't know. But the look in her eyes caught me by surprise.

Her captivating brown eyes that can look through anyone with such a strong gaze. Her face looked so perfect and her soft lips seemed so kissable and delicate to me. Everyone said no one is perfect but there is no denying that Ameli was somehow perfect in her own ways and there is not a thing that I would change about her. And I don't know why but her sudden panic just now intrigued me.

I snapped out of my thoughts and said, " This place is actually an old pier. Most of the people have forgotten about this place though."

Ameli nodded, slowly shifting her gaze to me. I ran my hands through my hair, nervous that she wouldn't like the place.

"Hmm thank you for bringing me to this place. It's really nice and gives me a calm feeling." Ameli said, smiling slightly at me.

As we walked together, I started to tell her about why I decided to bring her to this place.

"This place was actually introduced by my granddad and I instantly fell in love with this place. We used to come here often and talk for hours and sometimes even sleep overnight." I explained, remembering the past memories.

"You must have been very close to your grandad. It's nice hearing that you have good relationships with your family." She said but her reply made me curious.

Does that means she come from a broken family? Or? But I decided not to question her.

"Yeah but he died from a heart attack so yeah."

"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean that way." Ameli said. I looked into her eyes and was surprised to see that she was actually genuinely concerned.

"No it's fine. I was 7 at the times, been 15 years." I said, adding a chuckle at the end of the sentence.

When she didn't reply, I said," Ready for some shopping?"

Ameli immediately broke out into a huge smile and nodded. And we returned back to my car, hand in hand.
