My father had left me in charge of the post office as he needed to go for an important overseas meeting. I was actually very against the idea of being in charge as it was very ridiculous to be seen as a 22 year old working there. But sometimes unexpected things happen too. And I guess meeting Ameli was one of the best mistakes that ever happened to me.

I loved how she smiled not only from her mouth but also in her eyes. I can see it in her eyes -- the way her eyes gleamed with happiness when she saw the Ferris wheel, how she would look up and pout slightly when she was thinking hard or being lost in her thoughts. The way her long brown hair fell carelessly on her shoulders. She was gorgeous, even in casual outfit and I really just want to know her better. Ever since I met her, I slowly believed in the fact that a simple hello could lead to a million things.

However, I noticed that she had zoned out for a while on the Ferris wheel cabin and the look in her eyes was something unreadable. Whatever she was thinking of, it really got my curiousity and I will find out one way or another.

But all I have to say is,
Ameli, you had me at hello.

It's so disturbing when you keep on thinking a person that you can no longer focus on what you are supposed to do. Like literally right now. I was given the task by my aunt to buy some food from the grocery store and here I am sitting at a bench in the store, thinking again and again about him.

Aidan, get the hell out of my mind.

As I spotted the apples section, I started walking towards it. Inspecting each apple, I reached out for an apple and at the same time, a hand reached out and landed on mine.

I immediately turned my head to look at who it was, expecting the person to be Aidan, only to see it was a brown-haired guy with green eyes staring down at me.

Why do people have such beautiful eye colours?

"Sorry but I saw it first." The guy smirked. My jaw dropped open but I quickly recovered.

"You saw it first but I touch it first. There's a difference so it's mine. " I said, returning the smirk.

Right after I said that, the boy smiled as he snatched the apple out of my hand before jogging away. I was too shocked to even react and anger slowly went through my veins.

Who did he think he was? Does hot guys like him always had to be an asshole?

Shaking my head, I decided to choose some more apples again. At least I had something to take my mind off the guy's arrogant attitude. And also to keep my mind off the fact that I haven't seen Aidan for two full weeks.
