Chapter 21: Loyalty

Jennie stared at her for a long moment, pure confusion in her wide eyes.

"Excuse me?"

Her shock was almost comical, Lisa scoffing as she pressed a palm to Jennie's sternum, pushing her so that Lisa was now leaning over the top of her girlfriend. Jennie limply flopped against the bed, with Lisa resting her hand on her hip.

"I want to kill Hyuna," she repeated looking into those confused feline eyes. Despite the violent words, they dripped with affection.

Now that they weren't in danger, or torturing the man that led the attack on Jeju, she was able to fully feel her gratitude and love for Jennie, knowing she was alive and safe in her arms.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows, frowning slightly. "Why?" She tilted her head, looking all over Lisa's face, trying to find some sort of hint that she was joking.

There was the soft sound of rain starting to patter against the many windows in Lisa's large bedroom, filling in the quiet pause as she looked down at Jennie.

"Because she tried to take someone very important to me away," she whispered.

She punctuated the words by reaching up to push the low, untied collar of Jennie's shirt down just enough so that she could see the tip of the thick pale scar above her heart. She pressed her fingers against the skin, smiling softly when she could feel the frantic thumping.

Doe eyes flickered back up to meet feline ones, her small smile staying firm on her lips.

"I love you... And I want to help you kill this witch — so that she never tries to hurt you again."

A million questions flashed through Jennie's eyes, but she voiced none of them. Instead, she grabbed the front of Lisa's shirt and pulled her down roughly, so that their lips met. Lisa inhaled sharply, not prepared for the suddenly passionate and emotional kiss.

Jennie pressed powerfully into her mouth, breaking away only to gasp for air for only a split second before pushing back in with all the affection in the world. After the long day they had, Lisa was happy to let the kiss continue in all its ferocity, her sentiment from earlier only growing.

Cool fingers trailed down her torso, moving to grab her hips and pull them so that Lisa was straddling over the top of Jennie, neither of them breaking their kiss. She shifted her weight onto both hands, propping herself up on either side of Jennie's shoulders.

Hands still on Lisa's hips, the sea witch started to desperately push them up into her shirt, the coolness of her skin against burning abs making them flex and flutter. Jennie grinned into the kiss, obviously loving how powerful her girlfriend was.

Lisa's fingers dug into the comforter, using all of her willpower to pull away, their lips loudly popping against the sound of the rain outside. She was panting, looking down at the blushing woman below her who's breath was equally as heavy.

"I want to, but are you sure?" Lisa asked through her gasps, swallowing thickly. Jennie was nodding before the question was even completely out of her mouth, her eyes dark as her roaming hands continued to move along heaving sides and shifting hips.

Licking her lips, Jennie kept her eyes glued to her face.

"I want to prove my loyalty to you just as much as you want to prove it to me... So why don't we do that together?" She spoke with confidence, the corners of her still crimson lips pulling up into a smirk that drove Lisa nuts.
