How did this go so wrong?

Lisa and Jennie were fighting side by side as if they were one being... But the next thing Jennie knew, she was pinned to the ground by some invisible force, watching the love of her life get pierced through her heart.

The weight on Jennie's chest was excruciating, pressing into her ribs and sternum so hard it felt like her bones were going to break. She thrashed her legs against the deck, trying to find traction to push herself up against the force.

She was begging and pleading for Lisa to get up- to do something -but when she heard her final words and saw the blade of her gifted sword drive into her heart, piercing through her back, all Jennie could do was scream.

Her throat hurt, her chest hurt, her heart hurt.

Everything hurt.

Uselessly she tried to reach out and grasp at Lisa as she visibly gasped at the pain, tensing as she held onto Hyuna's wrist. She was only a few feet away, why couldn't she reach her?

Tearing her eyes away from Lisa, Jennie's eye's bore into Hyuna's face.

She was smiling.

Red eyes turned to look at her as she screamed at the top of her lungs, tears burning across her temple and the bridge of her nose as she watched her worst nightmare happen right in front of her.

Lisa's shoulders started to visibly weaken, her grip slipping from Hyuna's wrist to hang loosely at her sides as blood pooled across her clothing, dripping from the tip of her own sword.

"No! No, no, no! Lisa!"

Jennie still struggled, her nails scratching along the deck as she tried to pull herself out from under the crushing weight on top of her.

The queen audibly laughed, her grip loosening from Lisa's neck and sword. She took a step back, pressing her heeled shoe against her chest. Hyuna carelessly pushed Lisa to fall backwards, her limp body slumping against the deck as the sword tilted at an awkward angle.

Watching the woman who ruined her life twice back away, Jennie started to cuss and scream at her, her fear turning to blistering rage.

Suddenly the crushing weight was off of Lena's chest as Hyuna called off the spell, allowing her to instantly scramble to her hands and knees. Straight away she went to Lisa's side, grabbing her shoulders and lifting her torso up onto her lap.

Blood was pooling under them, spreading fast across the deck as Lisa looked blankly up at the sky. Her doe eyes, her beautiful eyes, were empty.

She was already dead.

Jennie watched her in horror. The world went completely silent, everything around her going into slow motion. Jennie's vision turned black all around her and Lisa as she stared down at her lifeless face, eyes wide in realization.

She knelt like that, holding the love of her life's body as her heart seemed to stop with Lisa's.

"Lili. Lisa, please, don't...Please!"

Jennie grabbed the protruding blade with both hands, yanking it out of Lisa's chest. She ignored how the edges painfully dug into her hand- ignored how blood coated her palms as she tossed the sword to the side.

"Sweetheart... Lisa! Come back! No, you can't go- you have to come back to me, please!"

She took her bloody hand and pressed it to Lisa's wound, begging for her lover's life; her voice cracked with emotion as she screamed.

Their blood mixed together as Jennie pressed her hand against Lisa's chest, a stray tear dripping on top of her knuckles.

"Please. Don't go where I can't follow, come back to me. I know you can do it, you've never given up in your life, ever, so please, come back!"
