Chapter Two

Blue went to Ranboo's house almost every day. His parents didn't care what he did. They just wanted him up by 9 am at the breakfast table so he could wash the dishes.

He picked uo his phone and called Ranboo.

"Hey. Can i come over?"

"Yeah you don't have to ask pft"

"Well, I wanted to stay the night. I just wanted to make sure it was cool.."

"Oh. Of course!"

"Okay. See you soon."

"Okayyyy"

Ranboo waited impatiently for Blue. He didn't know what it was, but he felt so much better when they were in the same room.

He heard a knock and ran to the door. His parents didn't live with him, so he could do whatever he pleased. They headed up to his room and he put on a movie. The Titanic is Blue's favorite movie. Ranboo had never seen it but had been meaning to watch it.

They were at the part where Rose and Jack were dancing below decks. Ranboo wasn't paying attention. He was looking at Blue. They were both sitting on either side of his bed.

Blue got up and went to the bathroom. He didn't actually have to go, he just wanted to sit closer to Ranboo so he got up, sat a few minutes, flushed and turned the water on a few seconds and went out if the bathroom.

He sat right next to him. A few inches away. Ranboo scooted closer and put his arm around him. He was nervous but he figured if blue asked he would just move. He said nothing. Only nuzzled his head into his side and continued watching.

By the end, they were both tearing up. It wasn't very late, so they just sat and talked.

Blue was trying so hard not to stare at Ranboo's lips when he was talking. He rambles about random stuff. But Blue liked it. He loved the sound of his voice.

They were sitting right in front of each other. Ranboo was so nervous. This was the longest Blue had stayed at his house. It had been about 7 hours since he arrived and it was getting late. They were both tired and laying down, staring at the ceiling. They talked about nothing.

"So I guess I'm gonna head downstairs to the couch. Do you have a spare blanket?" He didn't bring any blankets because he was so excited and forgot.

"Well.. No. You can sleep in here if you want. I mean I can give you this blanket if you aren't comfortable sleeping in my bed with me. I'm fine without it. I can even sleep on the couch if you want." He wanted Blue to be comfortable. 

"Ranboo- it's okay. I'm fine with sleeping in here with you. It's not like you're gonna murder me tsk--" ranboo smiles as Blue climbs back into bed right next to him.

About 12 minutes later, Ranboo slowly sits up and reaches for his phone. "Can't sleep?" Blue says in a sleepy voice. "Yeah. You?" He replies. "Same." He says, sitting up.

Blue looks over at Ranboo after about 30 minutes. "What?" He says laughing. "Oh, nothing. Sorry." Blue replies looking back to his phone. "No it's cool."

They were showing each other funny tiktoks and Ranboo showed Blue one and it reminded him of a story that made them both burst out in laughter. Ranboo rests his forehead on Blue's shoulder after they calm down and when he lifted his head he froze. He was dangerously close to Blue's face. "Hi" he says, so nervous he can barely breathe.

Blue stands up and walks to the bathroom. "Shit.." He says, sliding down the door, onto the floor. He starts crying and stood up quickly. He wipes his tears and walks out of the bathroom.

The next day Ranboo wakes up at 8 am. Blue was still asleep so he decided to make breakfast. He had some pancake mix and eggs so he decided to make that.

By 8:30 blue had woken up and he walked into the kitchen. "Hey" Blue says "Hi. I'm making breakfast go sit down."

They eat and talk.

"You okay? You got quiet." Blue breaks the silence.

"Yeah. Sorry."

Blue eventually went home. He didn't want to. He wanted to stay with Ranboo.

Yeah. We should do that again. It was fun.

Yeah for sure. Summer starts in a few days. We can walk home together on the last day. The last day is tuesday, right?

They talked for a few hours after that. Ranboo couldn't stop thinking about him. He plugged up his phone and closed his eyes. It was only 9 pm but he was so tired. He shortly fell asleep and woke up to his 6 am alarm.

"Ugh.. Monday."

He got up and put on a Hawaiian shirt with a white tee under it. He scanned through his pants drawer and decided on black jeans. He wore his classic Converse shoes and a mask. No sunglasses cos its just school. Not a lot of people are into mcyts so he didn't mind much.

He walked to Blue's house and waited on his front porch. He texted him to let him know he was there and he sat on the step.

When Blue walked out he stood up and they started walking. School wasn't too far but it didn't start until 7:40 so they took their time.

Before they knew it, they were at school.

They parted ways and went to their first hour class. They met back up at lunch and made small talk.

"I can't wait until school is done. One more day." Blue says. "Yeah. We can hang out a lot more. We could go on vacation and all kinds of things."

Blue looks at Ranboo.

"That's a good idea. We should go somewhere! Like.. England or something. We could visit Tommy and Will! And Toby!!" They smile right before the bell rings and they go back to their classes.

Ranboo is so excited. He honestly thought that Blue wouldn't want to talk to him again.

They next day went by quickly for the both of them and after school on Tuesday Blue ran to Ranboo's house. He wasn't having a bad day, he was just excited and he wanted to get out some energy.

Ranboo opens the door immediately and blue walks in. "My parents said yes. I have a lot of money I've saved up. I was gonna use it for something in a few months but i have more than enough. Its in here!" He holds up a backpack and opens it.

"Woah there buddy- we haven't even decided to where we're going."

"To visit toby" Blue says, still out of breath.

"Uhmm.. Okay. I'll book a flight. Are you sure you have the money right now. What were you even saving up for?"

Blue froze. "Nothing. Its not important right now. I have enough. Trust me."

"..okay.. Let's do it."
