Chapter Four

Trigger warning: this chapter will include coming out, talk about homophobia, talk of major transphobia.

"You ready?" Ranboo says.

"Yep.." Blue replies.

They follow Toby inside and they walk to the hallway. "Oh.. I forgot to mention that there's only one room. Tonight I'll sleep on the couch. Or Blue, you can. I don't know if you want privacy cos ya know.. Girl things?? I don't know.." Tubbo stutters and nervously laughs which is funny to blue. "No that's alright pft- I'll share a room with Ranboo. Thanks though!" He says laughing. Toby left for a family event. He said he wouldn't be back until tomorrow morning.

They get their things unpacked and sat on the king sized bed. "Im glad you agreed to come with me." Blue says. "I know it was sort of out of the blue (hehe blue) but i really did want to do this." He continues, laying down.

"Of course. I like spending time with you. This is perfect. Thank you. And I'm gonna try to pay you back. How much money?" Ranboo says, also laying down. "No you won't. I wanted to pay. No need to pay me back. I've been saving up since i was like 13 and i had like twice as much as i really needed." Blue said, shifting to his side to look at Ranboo. "Hey uh.. What were you saving up for? I know i asked you this the other day, but you never told me." Ranboo says, looking away from the ceiling and towards blue.

Shit..

"Um.. I'm gonna go get some water. Do you want anything from the kitchen?" Blue says, changing the subject. "V.. You alright?" Ranboo stands up and walks to the door where blue was almost out of the room. "Yeah. I'm fine." Blue walks out before Ranboo can say anything else. Ranboo follows him out and grabs his shoulder

"Hey.. You can talk to me."

"There's nothing to talk about. I'm gonna go on a walk. See you later."

"Hey. I understand if you don't want to tell me right away, but i want you to know, that whatever this is, I'll listen."

Ranboo's pov:

She turns around with tears in her eyes. She walks towards me and simply hugs me.

"I do have something. But I don't know how you will take it." She looks up at me and lets go. "Worst case scenario I'll be helping you hide a body, alright? I promise i won't judge you for whatever this is."

"I'm not a girl. Im a boy. I have a female's body but- but i haye it and I'm trans. I don't- i don't want you to think less of- of me, but you have to know this and-"

I cut him off with a hug because i notice his voice breaking from tears. "It's okay. I think no less of you. You are the world to me. You are my best friend." We sit down on the bed in comfortable silence.

"Thank you." He says.

"Always"

He hugs me and i feel butterflies in my stomach. Why?

"Surgeries." He says.

"Hm?" I reply.

"I was saving up for top amd bottom surgery. I have enough. I'm just.. Scared."

"We should call! I mean.. After we're here. I mean.. How long are we gonna stay? A month?"

"Three months, bud."

"Well, call right now. You've been saving up since you were thirteen. I don't want you to have to push this back because of this."

"Ranboo, i wanted to come here. I will call tomorrow. I'm a mess right now. I will try to get an appointment for after the three months is up. Thank you."

"For what?"

"Not ditching me. No one knows. That's why im scared to get the surgeries. You are the only person i have ever told. I've known since I was twelve. I thought it would blow over, since i was so young, but it never did."

"Blue.. You know i would do anything for you, right? You know i would never, EVER leave you. I promise."

"I think I'm actually gonna go on a walk now. Do you want to join?"

"Hm.. Sure."

Third person pov:

They begin walking to nowhere and Ranboo finally breaks the silence.

"Uhm.. I'm sorry, can i ask you a question?"

"Yeah! Of course, what is it?"

"So.. Are you straight? I know that's a random question and i dont even know why im asking but i-"

"Nope. Im pansexual. Just like you!"

"Oh! Cool."

Ranboo smiles and they stop at a park (very original, I know) and sit on the top of the jungle gym right in front of the slide.

"So.. What surgery are you getting first?" Ranboo says, curious

"Top surgery first for sure. I HATE binding. It also heals a lot quicker."

"Hm. Okay well when you get it, will you have anyone ti take care of you?"

"No. I can do it myself, really."

"I can help with anything you need. I know that kind of stuff.. Hurts. I don't know how else to explain it-"

"Hah. Yeah. I bet. Im nervous. If i need you, I will call. I promise."

Ranboo nods and smiles. They sit a bit longer and then they head back to the cabin. 

When they arrive, toby is sitting on the couch.

Ranboo's pov:

"I thought you weren't going to be back until tomorrow..?" I say, shocked.

"Yeah. I mean, we aren't complaining, but is everything okay?" Blue chimes in.

"Got cancelled. Everyone works tonight. We're doing it tomorrow." He replies, looking up from his phone.

Me and Blue walk into our room to grab clothes. I change in the bathroom and he changes in the bedroom. We both get done and walk back into the living room to sit with Toby.

I shoot a quick text to Blue and look at him, shaking my phone a bit to signal that i l had texted him.
