I sincerely apologize for not updating in the last few weeks. School has just been nuts with me as of lately and I had exams I've been studying for since Christmas. But since I just recently finished those, there shouldn't be much time between now and the next one-shot!

I am starting a new semester now though since my exams are finished and the classes might be a bit...time consuming with everything in them and all the things I'll need to do for them compared to last semester, so I wouldn't get any hopes up on a bunch of new one-shots being posted soon or anything.

But I will still keep updating, don't you worry.

The second I decide this book's not getting any more chapters uploaded at all, you'll all know. This book will be changed to "complete" instead of "ongoing", so don't worry, you will know when it's done.

But that won't be for a while.

I still got some ideas to toy around with up ahead, and I got a certain goal of how many chapters I want to upload here before it's finished. And it might take a weeee bit longer to get there.

Anyways, I just wanted to apologize for that and explain, and thank you SO much for your patience with me on this one.

Also, I've mentioned Aaron Waltke's aftermath of Rise of the Titans head-canons before in a previous one-shot or two. You definitely might recognize quite a few in here if you've read his head-canons ;)

Anyways, enough of me yapping away. Thanks a lot for your patience guys, and I hope you enjoy with this future based one-shot!

Jim's POV:

What a time to be alive.

It's been years since I reset the timeline after defeating the arcane order. Just over six actually. And we're doing better than ever.

Me and Toby, after only a few days after resetting the timeline and restoring his memories, went on a mission to restore everyone's memories. Which truthfully happened rather quickly. We had to wait a bit to restore Aja's, Krel's and Varvatos's memories since we had to wait for them to crash on Earth to do so, but it all worked out after they did. We, as in me, Toby, and Claire, even helped out in their battle against General Morando, which quickened the battle comparing it to last timeline's fight. Douxie regained his memories around the same time Claire did. After I got Claire's back, we moved on to Douxie. But the second person to find out about the time resetting and the past timeline, after Toby but before Claire, was mom. She seemed actually pretty happy once her memories were regained. But I know for a fact a good majority for that was that she realized Strickler was still alive at this time.

We're mostly all twenty two years old now, all finished collage and some with some pretty great jobs that they enjoy more than they'd even admit.

Douxie's book store business has extended after some business men were touring through California and approached Douxie about his shop after they looked throughout it. They saw great potential with the books and items there, and how so many tourists loved his shop. So in recent years with Douxie's and the men's agreement, they helped extend his store to places outside of California as well, and Douxie's been doing more than success with it. He chose to do this kind of business with some very loyal men that never wanted to take over his store like you'd see in movies or in other business agreements, but wanted nothing more than to help make his store spread out throughout the US with how much potential it had. No one was more shocked than Douxie himself, but he did some research and spoke to people about these men that approached him before making the agreement with them that would help this business grow throughout his years.
