Hey Guys!

I know, July fourth passed a few weeks ago, but some things got in the way of finishing and editing it up. I still really really wanted to publish this one though, and I know some people really wanted this too, so I'm really glad I ended up finally getting it finished. The
Long awaited July 4th reunion, following up the St. Patty's Day Reunion one-shot months ago, definitely was a bit more long awaited than I excepted it to be.

I'm happy it's finally done though, and I'm happy I finally got myself writing again. With so many things pushing aside any writing plans, I'd often forget to do it once I'd have some free time. But, I'm glad I'm doing it again!

⚠️WARNING⚠️
Ok, now I gotta stress that anyone who isn't comfortable with smut scenes needs to pass this chapter. I'm never gonna rate this one-shot book with an overall smut rating. Especially cause, most likely If I do any more chapters like this, there will only be one or two more at most written. Or maybe this will be the only one, who knows. It all depends how this gets received. If I do, for example, fifty chapters in this book overall and only two or three are smutty, I wouldn't consider it a smut book or rate the whole thing entirely as such. So if theres a possibility of any more in the future, there will 1000% be a warning at the beginning of the chapter saying it's got a smutty scene. In this chapter, Jim and Claire do eventually go all the way, unlike the last one. So if anyone won't be comfortable with scenes like that, I highly suggest passing this One. The next one most likely won't be a Smut chapter. If anything's a bit too much, let me know. Like I said, I won't be doing too many of these if any more are made. Most, or almost all other than this one and possibly one or two more, will be PG.

Anyways, I won't stall ya any longer. Enjoy!

Jim's POV:

July 4th. Independence Day.

One of the biggest, if not the biggest holiday in the United States is tomorrow.

Every year for the Fourth of July since I moved out of the house, me and mom would have a lunch together and get caught up on things we've been doing. Thankfully, those plans were still in place for this year.

Same as plans to see a parade with friends. Me and Toby for as long as I can remember would get up early when we were younger and go out to see a parade at noon, with his Nana and my mom taking us there. Now that we're older, we still go to the same one we normally would go to every year, just either by ourselves, or with some other friends.

And thankfully, someone who travels down here for July fourth and stays for the summer was doing the same type of thing this year.

Claire was originally supposed to come down on the second, but for an unknown reason, it had to wait another two days til she could fly down. I visited her around Easter as a surprise a few months ago. And thankfully I did, cause we both got pretty swamped with work and our schools since then.

Like always, I'm very excited to see her again. Even if it was only about three months since last time I saw her, it still feels longer than such when your anxiously waiting to see them the next time you
get the chance.

And since I am and wanted to clarify some things, I'm texting her as my thoughts are drifting off, looking forward to the day tomorrow when she finally comes back home again.

Claire: Jim? You there?

I drifted back into reality, my thoughts fading into the back of my mind as I looked back down at my phone screen, now reading three minutes since I read Claire's last message.

Jim: Sorry, drifted off for a moment there.

Claire: So remember, no picking me up at the airport tomorrow. As much as I wanna see you once I get off that escalator again, mom talked to me recently and was hoping I could see a parade with them shortly after I get off the plane, so their planning on picking me up instead. Especially since I talked to Enrique on that same phone call and he sounded so excited about it.
