Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't been updating much, I was busy with school before spring break started, so I decided to put a little more time into my grades for that time being. I'll hopefully start updating a little more frequently now.

This is my St. Patrick's Day special one-shot, and I wanna say something before I start, cause it has been asked before. I'm not Irish, but where I live I do still celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Not to be offensive to any Irish people, just wanted to let others know that I do celebrate and enjoy the holiday even though I'm not Irish :)

Third Person POV:

Claire and Jim were on a day out, just to hang out together after having a few weeks of work rebuilding the trollmarket below them and hanging out with everyone almost every day. It's been a while since it was just them together, and it felt weird considering how used to it they were while out on their trip to New Jersey.

It's been a few weeks since Jim, Claire, and Blinky returned to Arcadia and began portalling trolls back to Arcadia at times to help with the re-building. Now that Claire has her shadow powers, she can teleport back and forth between New Jersey and Arcadia, using either Not-Enrique, or anyone she cared about living in Arcadia as her emotional anchor.

Right now, Jim and Claire were laughing about recent times during trollmarket's rebuilding, enjoying their time together.

"It did!".

"No it's didn't".

"Yes it did Jim, I'm telling you! The portal today literally looked like neon! The purple from it was so bright, you'd think I was lying til you see it for yourself" Claire stated.

"Is that bad?" Jim asked concerned.

"What, the neon level brightness? Apparently not! I FaceTimed Doux after getting home asking about it, and he says it's a good sign".

"How?".

"He told me if they start glowing bright like that, it means my powers are gonna start getting stronger, and that I'm taking good progress to all this. Especially with shadow magic Coming out of my literally hands being so new to me ".

"Well that's a relief" Jim told her beginning to smile. "And that's awesome! I never knew that could actually happen once you make progress in your magic, that's pretty cool".

"Yeah, well I've been trying my best to keep it all under control while learning some new tricks. They don't do any harm to me, but they could really help in some things with all this stuff to do with the trolls. I wanna be as ready as possible if we ever have to do some more with all this. Do some good here, everyone really needs some, with all this rebuilding especially".

"That's my girl" Jim said proudly, gripping Claire's hands lightly in his own on their table. "Good for you Claire, that's really great".

Claire smiled at Jim, then leaned in giving him a quick kiss. After pulling away, she got up from her chair, as did Jim, and they began walking to the car. They already paid the person serving them, they were just finishing up their conversation before leaving.
