Metropolis casino

The lights were bright and music blared as people gambled their hard earned money in games of chance. Barry walked into the casino looking around for where this auction was taking place. He wandered around watching people play games they had very little chance in winning. He noticed two security guards standing either side of what Barry thought was a bathroom door, but there presence suggested otherwise. He walked over to the door before one of the guards stopped him.
"Name" one of the guards said as he stared at Barry.
"Oh I thought this was a bathroom, sorry" Barry replied stumbling over his words. The guard shook his head and pointed to the other side of the casino. Barry turned and started to walk away, blending in with the crowd. He then zoomed past the guards without them noticing walking down the steps towards the basement. Once he was down their he found a place to hide. The basement had just as much lighting as the main casino but a lot less people. There was a few seats arranged out with a lot of wealthy men and woman sitting in them waiting for the auction to start. The auctioneer walked up front welcoming everyone to the auction. The auction got under way with the first few items. After a while of people bidding and winning items the main event piece was brought out, the second relic. Barry peaked out of his hiding place to look at the relic. Unlike the first this relic was dark and rusted. The auction started off high with the first person bidding 1 million dollars, the price continuing to rise as the bidding went on.

Outside the casino

Iris and Kara stood on top of the building opposite the casino. Kara used her x-ray vision to look into the building, noticing the floor was lined with lead. Iris asked Kara to give her five minutes to see if she can get any leads, to which Kara obliged. Kara dropped Iris in a alleyway close to the casino so she could gain easier access without being seen. Iris walked into the casino looking around to notice anything suspicious. She also noticed the guards at the door noting it looked odd. Suddenly she heard an explosion come from under the floor. The explosion lead to the guards launching themselves through the door and down the stairs. Kara also hearing the explosion zoomed in through the main doors in her Supergirl suit. One of the guards at the door went to stop her coming in but she pushed him back sending him flying across the floor. One of the other guards swung a chair at Supergirl it shattering on impact. She turned to look at the guard as he had a sense of fear in his eyes. She grabbed the guard throwing him through the roulette table. She sped to Iris to make sure she was okay before turning her attention towards the other guards. Three guards came running into the room with machine guns. The people in the casino had started to run out after the explosion meaning no civilians were in the way. As the guards prepared to fire Supergirl used her super breath to knock them all onto their backs.

The Auction - before the explosion

As the bidding reached 2 million dollar the wall behind the auctioneer exploded knocking over the auctioneer and the front row of guests. As the dust started to settle the two guards at the doorway came rushing down the stairs. As they reached the bottom they were both shot with a red laser beam. Out of the dust stepped Queen, King and Jack. Barry quickly suited up upon seeing the trio. Queen walked over to grab the second relic. Before she could Flash sped over snatching it away. He stood in the centre of the room with the relic in his hand. He waved his free hand in the air.
"Hey, fancy seeing you here" Barry stated. The trio looked at Flash with a confused look.
"He wasn't supposed to be here" King whispered to the others. The trio started to move to try and surround Flash. As they did they heard the smashing of furniture and screens from above their heads. The trio looked at each other before they all jumped at Flash trying to grab the relic. Flash easily dodged their attempts moving towards the stairs.
"If you can catch me you can have it" Flash joked as he zoomed up the stairs. The trio followed in frustration. As Flash entered the main part of the casino he bumped into Supergirl causing him to slide across the room. "Ow" Flash said to himself before getting up. Supergirl looked over at Flash as he got up seeing that he had the relic. She zoomed over to him snatching the relic out of his hand.
"I thought you were a helping people in Central City Flash. Why are you in Metropolis stealing this" Supergirl shouts the relic in her hand.
"I wasn't stealing I was keeping it away from those guys" Flash states as Queen, King and Jack enter the room. Once Supergirl sees the trio enter the room she instantly gets into a fighting stance. She speeds over to punch King as a card is thrown at Supergirl. As it hits her it blows up into green smoke. Supergirl instantly falls to the ground and starts to cough up blood. As she kneeled on the floor a voice could be heard from behind the trio.
"I told you to stay out of this miss West" the voice spoke as the figure it belonged to walked out of the shadows. Iris was still in the room and watched as the man from the phone walked out onto the casino floor. He had the same suit as the other three but he had a mask covering his face, his eyes pierced through his metallic mask staring down Iris and Flash. He walked over to Supergirl before kicking her in the stomach. "That was my ace in the hole" Ace stated coldly. He grabbed the relic from Supergirl clutches holding it up to his eyes. "Perfect" he stated before he turned to leave. Flash rushed to catch him, before he could Jack had already shot him with his laser eye, the laser hitting his shoulder. He fell to floor as the group began to leave. Once the group had left soliders started to run through the door. They came in aiming their guns at Supergirl.
"Supergirl you have been declared a danger to Metropolis and the United States. Stay down and come quietly" the commanding soldier demanded. Supergirl couldn't move. Flash saw this quickly speeding him and Supergirl out of the casino and onto a rooftop in Metropolis. The soldiers let Iris go after asking a few questions and closed off the casino. Supergirl started to get up as Flash looked out over the city.
"Why did you save me?" Supergirl asked. Flash looked at her with a confused look.
"Why wouldn't I?" Flash questions back walking over to Supergirl.
"Because I was about to be arrested by the US government. Isn't that what this superhero thing is about putting away bad guys" Supergirl states trying to work out why Flash did what he did.
"Do you not trust me?" Flash asked with a confused tone.
"How can I trust when you wear a mask?" Supergirl states turning around with her hands on her hips sighing into the air. As she turned around Flash took off his mask reading his face.
"How about now?" Barry questioned causing Supergirl to turn round. "My name is..." Barry started before he was cut of.
"Barry?" Supergirl questioned.
