I think this story has only one remaining reader.

Zon is not used to skipping breakfasts. He might've skipped doing a few assignments before and just went to school feeling a little bit more fidgety hoping his professor won't call him out and ask to present his answer in class but certainly Zon seldom left the house without eating his first meal of the day. Food is food, afterall. It comes before anything else.

Well that is, until crap happened. And by 'crap' Zon meant his parents walking in on him while having a meal with Saifah first thing in the morning with the latter wearing his clothes on.

How that might have looked in his mom's eyes Zon would rather not imagine. Still, it's much harder not to see what goes on in his mom's head seeing how she reacted the moment she saw them sitting side by side in the dining table.

"Oh! Look who's here." Zon's mom gushes at her husband the moment she sees both Saifah and Zon at the dining table having their breakfast.

Zon was shell-shocked to say the least, while Saifah was quick to stand up and wai.

"Good morning, aunt and uncle." Saifah greeted Zon's mom and dad.

Zon's dad nod to acknowledge the greeting while Zon's mom smiled from ear to ear. Her eyes had a certain twinkle too that screams mischief it made Zon so nervous that he forgot to breath and speak all at the same time.

"It's mom and dad for you dear. It's in the bag anyway." Zon's mom urged.

What freaking bag are they talking about?, Zon wonders.

"Thanks mom." Saifah said with a bright smile on his face.

"I'm so happy to see my two sons getting along really well. Aren't you dear?" Zon's mom asked her husband after sitting down to join Zon and Saifah for breakfast.

Two sons? Since when did you birth another? Zon can't help but comment internally.

On the other hand, Zon's father simply nodded while observing them.

"The t-shirt looked good on you dear. Zon just drowns in it." Zon's mom added after grinning at them for two whole minutes. Saifah just smiled. Then an idea came to him.

"I think it fits me well. Like it was meant for me." Saifah replied but he was looking at Zon in his side.

Zon had the, what the heck are you saying expression but Saifah just shrugged his shoulders.

"It does look like it. He really was meant for you. I mean the t-shirt." Zon's mom agreed to which Zon only rolled his eyes.

Saifah and his mom are both having a field day teasing him.

"Mom, aren't you going to eat?" Zon asked trying to divert his mom's attention. Zon's dad already got them the plates and the utensils and put rice and viands on them too but Zon's mom is too occupied that she hasn't even taken a single bite yet.

Somehow, something more important is taking her attention away from her meal.

"It's the weekend. Do you two have plans for today?"

Zon frowned at the question. Can't his mom just eat in peace and let them be. Is a peaceful breakfast too much to ask?

"Yes mom, we do. Is it okay if I take Zon out with me today?"

"We have plans?" Zon can't help but ask out loud.

"You don't remember? We were in bed when you said-" Zon immediately put his palm over the other's mouth to shushed him out. Good thing Zon's mom finally took a spoonful of fried rice and was a bit occupied with food that she missed what Saifah just said.

"Okay. I get it. We have plans. Happy?"

"Extremely."
