The moment Zon mentioned about cooking for Saifah, he immediately regretted it. If frying is considered cooking then he can definitely cook. Just don't ask for soup or anything else, Zon's not in the mood to poison anyone.

Zon would like to take back his words about cooking something up but when he glanced back at Saifah, the other was beaming and had this wide smile on his face that Zon was forced to swallow his words. He'll at least try for this smiling nutcase.

Zol used to say that his fried rice is okay so Zon will prepare that. It wasn't hard to cook too and won't take long. Saifah must be hungry now and the sooner he gets to eat the better. Zon is only hoping he won't burn anything and that the kitchen will stay intact even after he's done.

Once they were inside the house, Zon headed towards the kitchen while still holding Saifah's hand. After reaching it, he gestured for Saifah to sit on one of the chairs in the small table at the corner. The four of them usually eat there when it's just them.

After raiding the fridge and their cupboards for eggs, leftover rice, some condiments and other frozen foods to fry to eat with the fried rice, Zon proceed with cooking the fried rice first then fried some ham, hotdogs and bacon on a separate pan.

It wasn't the first time he has used the kitchen but it's his first time getting nervous about preparing a simple meal. Saifah doesn't seem like one to criticise him if the food turned out bad but Zon feels as though he's doing a practical exam and that he'll be graded for his work once done.

While Zon is busy fussing about the cooking, Saifah is busy admiring his fiancé. Zon looking focused and serious with whatever he's doing is making Saifah fell head over heels for him. Zon is being this way because of him and that thought alone is enough for his heart to swell with happiness and all other good feelings.

After a few minutes of hard labor, Zon was finally done and handed Saifah a plate of newly cooked fried rice with some fried viands too. If Saifah noticed that his hand was shaking a bit he didn't mention anything about it.

After being handed the plate, Saifah took a moment to admire Zon's work and how he carefully plated everything. He's proud of what Zon had done for him and can't wait to try it.

"Thanks my Zon. I'll eat well.", Saifah said before digging in to the food.

When Saifah took the first spoonful of the rice Zon can't help but look at him expectantly hoping the food was okay and didn't taste weird.

When Saifah smiled and said that the food is good, Zon heaved a sigh of relief and left to get him a glass of water.

"Turns out my Zon really knows how to cook. I think we can get married now.", Saifah said nonchalantly while continuing to eat. He's trying to downplay what he means by it but is curiously waiting for Zon's reply.

"If you're okay with eating fried rice all our married life then that's fine by me.", Zon said without giving it much thought. It took him a while to realize the implication of what he said and when he did, Saifah's already grinning at him.

"I think you just said yes to a marriage proposal my Zon. That's a touch-move and you can no longer take it back.", Saifah said half-serious and half-teasing Zon about it. He means it but he knows he can't be too forward with his fiancé lest he scares him.

"D-don't put words in my mouth. Let me think about it first.", Zon replied definitely blushing to the tips of his ears.

Saifah on the other hand is having a blast seeing how Zon is blushing with his words. Zon easily shies and Saifah likes to tease him more if only to see the red on his cheeks and ears. It's one of the things he loves about his soon-to-be-wife and Saifah decides to add fuel to the fire.

"What should I put there then my Zon?"
