Surface Pressure

You may have read my short story and song parody "Pressure on the Rouge". And I'm pretty sure you guys may know why I've picked this song as Eren's playlist. (I've changed the lyrics in here at 'Was Levi ever like, "Yo, I don't wanna fight in Scout's Service"?'.)

Armin's eyes sparkle in awe and wonder "The ocean..."

Shinshinjane "Shut up, Armin."

Armin "But the ocean..."

Unbelievable.

Eren 'He cares more about the ocean than what this song is supposed to represent for me.'

Comparing the song to Eren's life build up to this moment, that's a lot of pressure weighing down on him. Everyone wants him to be their pillar of hope, their hero. Mostly everyone wants him dead or become the monster they all fear.

And that kind of thinking and stress is not good for anyone to be in, not good for the body or the mind.
