After a good night sleep y/n wakes up feeling refreshed and eager to start this new chapter of her life. Y/n finishes getting ready and heads out for what might be her last Thursday brunch with Sue - her best friend - as today she breaks the news of the move.
Sue was already at the café when y/n arrived.
S: "Y/n!"
Y/n: "Sue! How have you been?"
S: "Good thanks, you're looking happy."
Y/n: "Oh I am... I have some news..."
S: "Better be good."
Y/n: "I got the job in Monaco! I leave in two days."
S: "Oh! Oh well that's great! Just like that?"
Y/n: "I know it's soon but I was hoping you'd stay with me till then and help pack... my family haven't been very supportive and Marc... well he's not interested."
S: "Of course I'll help! It's sudden news but as long as you're following your heart."
Y/n: "Thank you so much!"
Y/n and Sue spoke for about 3 hours, reminiscing their childhood, dreaming and so much more... it felt like the perfect end to her life here in Guernsey before Monaco.
After brunch y/n goes home feeling happier about the move than before. She has support and help from one of the most important people in her life and wouldn't want it another way.
