The week had gone by so fast and Y/n and Charles had spent every minute together. When he had to leave she knew she wouldn't stay on as long as she thought she would, she couldn't bare the thought of being apart for so long.

As much as she just wanted to stay in bed and watch Netflix she had a song to go and make, Kelly had reminded her every hour before today about it. She got up and got ready; deciding on a simple but cute outfit:

Y/n: Hi I'm miss y/l/n and I'm here for-
Liam: Y/n? You're the rising star singer?
Y/n: Its you, you're helping me with this? Small world huh?
L: I guess. This is great! We can catch up now.
Y/n: Yeah...

Y/n felt unsure about what she should think about working with Liam. What would everybody think. She knows there's history between them from the past but would that be where it stays... after all old injuries can still hurt right?

Y/n: So? Shall we start? I have an idea I'd love to try as a first song.
L: Let's hear it.
Y/n: So, it's a simple song, it's all about finding yourself, creating yourself more so...

And so Y/n explained everything she wanted and Liam agreed to make it happen. Immediately they began putting lyrics together and soon enough they had the words.

L: Great! All we need is music, and then to record.
Y/n: Amazing work!
L: We make a good team... we always did.

Liam looked at her and y/n's eyes caught his as he smiled sadly.

Y/n: Liam... is this going to be too hard?
L: No, no it'll be fine. I know we had some rough patches but I just hate that our friendship was lost.
Y/n: Me too...

L: I still remember how we'd always run to the playground swings first in kindergarten, and eventually the teacher would yell at us to give others a chance.

Y/n: Or the time we went shopping cart racing in the empty parking lot.

They started laughing and talking over all their childhood memories. Y/n was really happy they were able to move past the hurt and get back to their silly selves. She knew this song was going to take all week and so she was relieved to be able to know nothing would happen.
They're going to finish this song, and Y/n will be able to go back home and show Charles her first ever song... right after they find a place together.
